Dominic Dylan Dobkins the Deceivingly Dapper Demon

Dominic was found abandoned, a couple of hours old, on the porch of a noble Elvish family. They weren't too keen on taking on a mutt, but figured he was too young and innocent to cast out so quickly. They adopted him, and raised him with their other children, in hopes of "raising him right", and having their new son be superior in every way to the "other Tiefling scum". His father also figured, if they failed at doing that, they'd at least have free slave labour.

Upon entering his teens, it became clear that he was in to more than just females, and this disgusted his father. Dominic spent the rest of his teen years being beaten and abused for who, and what, he is. After a few years of relentless torture, and being treated like a lowly street urchin, he reached a breaking point. However, instead of killing his father, as he so desperately wanted to do, he kissed his mother's cheek, hugged and kissed his baby brother, donned his fanciest favourites, and vanished into the night.

The next ten years were spent in various disguises as he roamed the streets, keeping a vigilant eye on the rest of his family from afar. They were also spent pick-pocketing, gambling, and conning. He's learned to mask his pain and sadness with boisterous banter and harmless pranks. He doesn't like getting to know others very much, not only out of suspicion, but also because he needs to know they deserve his time and attention. However, once he warms up to the people he's around, he's really sweet, a smart-ass trickster, and a bit of a loon. He loves to read, he's a bit of a snob, and absolutely abhors getting dirty when it's not part of a disguise. He's also incredibly loyal to any, and all, that he has deemed worthy to protect. In all honesty, if you treat him right, he's yours for life.
