Usually seen wandering the downtown city streets or in a posh, Victorian-themed cafe, Holland is the antithesis of his cousin, Iszak. Holland is calm, delicate, and passive. And while Iszak loves the gritty, violent underbelly of the city, Holland is only interested in the high-society, artsy districts, and ignores the lower-class areas.

Holland dresses in the "Kodona Ouji" or "dandy" style of dress, and only associates himself with other dandies. The only exception to this seems to be when he is with his family, and Holland tries hard not to come into contact with them when he is in public.

While Holland can be passive and apathetic, at the same time, he is full of emotion, and tries to express it in his poetry. Holland's poetry does, admittedly, express his emotions, albiet, not well. It has become an accepted fact among his family that his poetry sucks, but Holland does not know this, probably because he surrounds himself with fellow Kodona Oujis who may, in fact, be worse poets than he is.

Holland is a very picky eater, and has sworn off most meats. Despite this, Holland loves Chinese food, but he can't eat too much of it, because too much salt makes him dizzy. He loves sweets, especially cake, specifically, red velvet cake, and scones. More than anything, though, Holland loves tea. He drinks more tea than he eats food, and this probably is why he happens to be as lanky as he is. Holland attributes his love of tea to his background, but seeing as both of his parents do not drink tea, his theory may not have any backing.
