A troublemaker since birth, Vexx is rather well suited to his current profession. He has no problem with stealing and thieving, especially from rich, snobby types. He is free-spirited and impulsive, and does whatever he pleases. He also can't stand being stuck in one place for too long; he suffers from some serious wanderlust, and is happiest when he's heading off to new places. While he does have a leader's instinct, he's also rather careless and irresponsible, and probably couldn't keep his ship and crew in order for too long without the assistance of Rey, his second-in-command.

It seems that Vexx unfortunately has a natural tendency to get under the wrong peoples' skins, whether due to his cheerful, devil-may-care nature, his tendency to boast at times, or both. Combine this with his stubborn refusal to back down even in situations where it would be wisest to, and it's pretty easy to see how he often manages to bite off more than he can chew (luckily for him, he's pretty good in a fight). On top of this, since he's quite pushy and aggressive, he tends to drag others into messy situations with him; as such, it takes a special kind of person to be able to put up with Vexx on a regular basis.
