Kaygai watched in the shadowy darkness of the moonless night. He waited for his minion, who has no name, to finish with his work. The Blood Red creature smiled wickedly when a loud, shrill scream was heard, piercing the night, then fell silent once more. His minion crawled through the shadows and back into its box to await its next task. Kaygai snatched up the box then vanished into thin air. He reappeared in an unknown, eerie place. "Home, sweet home." he muttered with a bit of disdain, as he went to report the success of his mission to his boss, Death. After being praised, rewarded and sent away, Kaygai began his plotting... But it wasn't long before Death sent his best worker to do yet another task and the power hungry Kaygai went out to do his new assignment.
Kaygai never liked working for Death. To him, Death was old, weak and foolish. And very soon he would be easy to overcome. Kaygai was going to become the new Death. He never liked being ordered around, only putting up with it for his dark intentions. It was worth it, for Kaygai knew he was getting closer and closer to his boss with each passing command...
Kaygai waited for his shadowy minion to finish up killing the target, chuckling as the softer screams of a muffled cry was heard. As his minion came back to its box, he smiled a wicked grin and asked it, "How will we overthrow Death?" His minion hissed its laughter as they headed off to a nearby pub for a well deserved drink.
