**FAN PET AND SPOILER WARNING**

This pet is based off the character from Final Fantasy XIV and is a fan pet, all rights for this character belong to Square Enix and Final Fantasy Online. With that being said, read on at your own risk for spoilers from Heavensward and on!

The Lord Commander:

Greetings dear traveler! I am Ser Aymeric de Borel, but please call me Aymeric. I am the current Lord Commander of the Temple knights. My job is to defend the city of Ishgard from all threats. Which was mostly dragons and their fanatic friends up until recently. After 5,000 years, the Dragonsong War. I have my friend the “Warrior of Light” to thank for that.

They not only put an end to the war, helped me deal with my father issues, and saved my best friend (Okay he likes to fight that title, but it is still the truth!), they rebuilt the city and more. Ishgard would be truly lost if not for my dear friend.

Now, to my great dismay at times, I am often dealing with more political problems. I would much rather be back to fighting dragons then constantly chained to my desk (Please don’t tell Lucia). During the end of the war, I got volunteered to take up the position as head of state instead of early retirement. So unlike Estinien, I am stuck at my old job with no end in sight.

It is not to say I am jealous of the fact my best friend goes on wonderous adventures with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn now that he doesn’t have to be the Azure Dragoon. Though I would be lying if I didn’t admit I do long to see both of them from time to time.

Of course, the Warrior of Light does sneak away to see me from time to time. They often come join me for dinner when they have free time. This is something I enjoy and attempt to keep secret; however, nothing can stop rumors within Ishgard’s walls. Not that I mind them. Some are quite humorous, and we both get a few laughs by the end of the night.
