I AM THE UNIVERSE; MOSTLY VOID, PARTIALLY STARS

It came to be amidst the glittering dust of a thousand dead stars, forged in the fading heat of long gone supernovas. At first nothing more than a whisper of something that may be graciously called consciousness, though not of itself nor its dying craddle, the endless dark void that slowly cooled around it. It was back then only a transitory, endless mind that spread spiriling across the remains of what preceded it, unaware of itself and its distinctiousness from its surroundings. It was rock and dust and ice and void and ember and light and darkness and everything that were to be and to remain, everything that would shift into new form only to remain the same. It was only during a brief glimpse of realization across the neverchanging eons of its existence that it came to be aware of itself through a sudden, remarkable concept: that of loneliness. It realized it was alone, and through that, it realized it was a being to exist.
