At his apartment, he will carry out full conversations with his goldfish, Carassius or Cara for short.

Brief History
Left by her husband before the birth of her son, Anomy's mother developed severe detachment issues. Even when he was still an infant, she was certain that Any would leave her. She decided early on that she would keep him to herself and prevent the world from tainting her baby boy. When it came time to enroll him in school, she at first decided to hold him back a few years because he wasn't ready. During this time she started to teach him herself and eventually made the arrangements for homeschooling. Curious as he was, Anomy naturally wanted to go outside, but his mother wouldn't even allow him to go outside. To give reason for her protectiveness, the woman began to poison her son with common household chemicals. Never using enough to be lethal, she cared obsessively for him even though she was the cause of the illness. When Anomy asked questions, his mother simply told him that he had to stay indoors or he would become even worse. Taking her word, young Any accepted his fate. After all, at least he had his mother. She added the poison to his food in sporadic intervals, sometimes keeping him bed ridden for days or not for months at a time. When he was well enough, Anomy had plenty to keep him busy. The house was massive, complete with a full library and a small greenhouse that he was allowed to play in when he was especially good (though only for an hour at a time). This way of life continued for twenty-one long years until his mother died. She battled cancer for years, keeping it from her son until it finally claimed her life. The funeral was held in the house with Any as the only one attending. After the ceremony, he was given his mother's will. Inside she explained the truth about his life, how she had kept him ill for her own selfish reasons. Both heartbroken and infuriated, Any had a decision to make. He was plenty old enough to go out on his own, but he had never once left the house. Eventually he decided to sell the house and take the money, along with what he received from the life insurance, and move out. There were just too many memories in the house. He couldn't bear to stay. Wanting to distance himself from the place, Any currently lives in a large city in a loft apartment.

Despite being confined indoors for his entire life, Anomy has always had a vivid imagination, perhaps because of this fact. He is extremely artistic and will use whatever art supplies he has readily available, whether a box crayons or a set of watercolors. Probably his most dominant trait, Any adores playing with anything. Another result of his upbringing, Anomy never really had a chance to mature completely. He is very much like a child. However, this doesn't mean that he is stupid, ignorant perhaps in the common sense area, but very bright nonetheless. Because he only ever had his mother as a companion, she was of course the one to teach her son. Homeschooling taught Anomy just as much as any other child, just not how to interact with other people and independence. Any has difficulty dealing with everyday problems, though if given enough time he can always work it out. He isn't very good at taking care of himself, because his mother always did it for him. Now that he is on his own in the real world, Any is above all else, excited, but he could use someone to show him the ropes. Fortunately, though, he is very optimistic and not easily discouraged. He loves to try new things; it is the experience that he lacks.
