A little about Nunzio...

Nunzio is a grafitti artist with a trouble making personality. He works at Tamsen's cafe during the day and hangs with the punk scene and does graffiti at night. It's uncertain why Tamsen keeps Nunzio employed at all. Tamsen insists Nunzio is a decent enough employ, but Nunzio is pretty sure it's because Tamsen is too kind hearted to fire him. Nunzio is incapable of taking anything serious and treats the entire world as if it's a joke. His inability to take anything seriously perhaps stems from living from foster home to foster home for his entire life and having been separated from his twin from an early age. To protect himself, Nunzio learned not to get his hopes up or to reveal any attachment and treated every person he met with suspicion or as disposable tools so he would never get his hopes or feelings crushed again. Now though, he has a hard time ever admitting to any real emotion and he reflexively treats everything mockingly, even his fondness for Tamsen and his growing bond with his estranged twin brother, Arsenio.

Nunzio may joke and play around, but he actually genuinely loves Tamsen. His inability to lay his emotions bare and truly reveal himself though makes it difficult. Tamsen is the type of guy who's kind hearted and relatively naive and Nunzio's playboy reputation and playful nature means that Tamsen never knows whether to take Nunzio's love confessions seriously because Nunzio is always throwing them out jokingly whenever Tamsen complains about Nunzio's terrible work ethic. So, Nunzio keeps doing what he does, and loves Tamsen from afar.


Arsenio

Arsenio is Nunzio's fraternal twin brother. The two were separated when they were very little when their parents died from illness. Arsenio was picked up by an eccentric but skilled magician who trained Arsenio as a world class magician and Nunzio struggled to survive on the streets with just his wits and a hardened ruthlessness. Both have their own attachment issues because of how they were raised and so bonding has been difficult since the two reconnected as adults. But, they are trying and they keep in touch.
