About:
Deo will pretend to be your friend and act loyal until he gets any nugget of information he can use to blackmail you in to doing his bidding. If he can't, and he thinks you'd still be useful to him, he'll try getting the information, or power, he deems necessary by physical means.
He's not evil for the sake of doing evil things, he's just very self-serving and doesn't think of others as much more than a means to personal gains.
He's a fighter/rogue type, he's cunning, but not necessarily intelligent, and he does not tolerate being told what to do for long.
He can be tricked in to thinking what you're making him do is for his own benefit, and his own idea, but he will lash out if he finds out about it.

Essentially, he's a very lost and sad child who grew cold after learning his father was the cause of the tragic accident that cost him his mother and little brother.
He truly thinks that his father split after purposefully doing this, and has no idea that they were separated, and presumed dead. - Neither know the other is alive and "well".

There's only one being in the world he's ever told anything truthful to, and he shows a semi-sensitive and genuinely pleasant side of himself if you can get him sloshed.
