Story

How does one create a world? Should a world begin with space? Time? The celestial bodies that light up the darkness? Or should it begin with a random being?

This world began with a soul. It began with the first card, The Guardian: a single soul who carries the spirit of the whole universe wherever they go. They aren't aware of what they carry, they aren't even aware that they actually are the very first living being, or even that they are so important. And that's what makes them so special, that's why I created them first: to live without burden.

Creating something is about letting it go. I might be the creator, the author of this story, but the world I created is its own, the souls that inhabit it are real, and I want them to live without restraints. This is why I let this world go, why my powers are now limited. I want to be part of this world and live in it too.

Lore Notes

They are part of this universe: they live on Earth as a traveler and go out of their way to speak with everyone and learn their story. They actively help those in need.
They created a deck of tarot cards to shape the world as it is.
They are the definition of a True Neutral, but they tend to have Neutral Good tendencies. The more they see of the world they created, the more they want to help, but they know that in order to keep balance, good and evil must coexist. They constantly struggle internally between keeping balance and wanting to use their powers to create a utopian world.
They can create new cards, but this is a power they haven't used in centuries. They can make Pokémon into cards to give them celestial powers, just like they did with Morphée, the last time they actively used this power.
They relinquished most of their powers to the Snake that eats the Moon and the Wolf that eats the Sun. They gave their power of destruction and death to the Snake, and their power of rebirth and creation to the Wolf. The Snake has the power to completely annihilate the universe, while the Wolf has the power to reset it to zero. Together, they have the power of creating a whole new universe from scratch, something that can only be done if the balance of good and evil is tilted so much that the universe ends up in utter chaos.
They created the Snake and the Wolf to be neutral, almost primal entities, to make sure that the two beasts couldn't be influenced by external matters.
They don't consider themselves a god. They're a creator, they created the universe, but their creations have complete free will and are fully independent. The world has been shaped by the will and the dreams of all the beings that inhabit it.
They carry a magical dagger that was given to them by a lost travel companion. Love almost destroyed them. As the creator, they shouldn't have let themselves fall in love, and they almost used their powers to make their mortal companion immortal, which could've broken the balance of life and death. The pomegranate is a reminder of this companion's fragile life, of the forbidden fruit, a reminder for the creator to never fall in love again.
Very few know they are the creator of the world. To the world, they are nothing more than a mysterious and powerful traveler. Under this identity, they are known as 'Brax'
They blame themselves for The Great Cataclysm that caused humains to go extinct, even if they couldn't have stopped the Snake and the Wolf from causing it.
They actually are an extremely powerful Alien variant of Lucario coming from an inconceivably advanced civilization. The universe they created is actually located in a single star system in a remote part of space, composed of 5 planets, only one being habitable and Earth-like. Nothing can escape this star system. This is the reason their type are Alien/Celestial: they aren't a deity, but actually an alien Legendary Lucario.
