Profile to Profilei guess i'm at the point where i'm trying to figure out how to get started with healing past traumas via shadow work, as well as meditating on and determining just exactly who 'God' is. i attempted some shadow work before, but i guess i wasn't doing it consistently enough or correctly? i know there are a ton of blockages i have yet to even acknowledge, let alone eradicate, but i don't know the first step of that process. it's quite complicated, especially for someone like me--someone who has a terrible habit of brushing things under the rug whenever they're too overwhelming to deal with. however--you mentioned Eastern Body, Western Mind following this point, so i wonder if this book is helpful with regards to healing past traumas. :~)

Profile to Profilei think i haven't fully awakened yet? i'm not fully asleep, either. i feel like i'm desperately trying to stir awake from a coma; i KNOW i need to wake up, but i'm unsure how to do it! is this a relatable feeling? i've done research and have watched modern-day gurus describe certain truths that very much resonate with my soul, but it's so difficult for me to embody this wisdom and practice being a more loving person... i know that's the key, but it's difficult. :~( maelstrom
