Also this year it seems that several Autumn Dragons have taken refuge in the farmers market and might need you to feed them... :(

As for selling the items, it's simple supply and demand. Of course prices are going to go up to astronomical proportions, they're being used now. People want them, there are only so many to go around, prices go up. Things stop, nobody needs to buy them, they just sit there, prices go down. I'm not sure why people are getting so pissed about it. If you wanted them cheap, do what the more intelligent people do, stock up on them in the off season.
And congrats @Haynorie for having some common sense.

I don't know, personally, I'm going to reserve my restock raids to the food shop now because I think it'd be helluva profitable if some dingy item I restock gets asked for.

@Rainey - I don’t get how that can be considered “greed at its best†That is ridiculous. So people want to make profits and they are automatically now greedy for that? Isn’t that the point of the game, to make profits and in whatever way you choose in order to gain things/points/pets/etc?

I think this is brilliant in terms of getting some of the seriously deflated items off the site. I just kind of wish it wasn't all food since food doesn't really vend <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/smiley_xface.gif" border="0" /> It's going to take a while to stabilize again.

I had 5 baskets priced at 59,000 from last year, just sitting in my shop all this time, all 5 were bought and now are 475,000. This is called "Greed at it's best"
I know I'm gonna be boycotting the "Illusions" story from now on. That one keeps re-selling the items insanely overpriced.

At least the item changes, and we have a CHANCE to buy one (or more) and feed it to them. Everyone stop and imagine if the item had stayed the same? It would be in the tens of millions by now.

The Recycle Beast changes once per day. These guys seem to be changing once every five minutes.

You really shouldn't be complaining that people are raising the prices. In most cases, the person you're buying from probably isn't even online. Most people aren't raising their prices, they just always had ridiculously priced stuff and all the stuff below them got bought out. And for the very few who are online and raising their prices, it just makes sense. They only have a 5-15 minute window to make a huge chance-in-a-lifetime profit, and you would probably take it if you'd managed to horde 300 of an item that is now worth 500k instead of 500sp yourself.
Either way, you're either complaining about someone who didn't intentionally take advantage or someone who knows you're willing to pay and is making a smart move. If you want to protest, get everyone you can to not buy anything over 100k instead of getting everyone to spam the shop owners. But I bet you won't be able to, because even angry, offended people still want that achievement.

I got 7 of the Tiny Swampie Lollies because I had the sense to go to the shop with the most in and buy them from there while everyone else was buying the cheapest ones. So I should be frozen for having the sense to do that?
Quit complaining people, the hype will die down tomorrow and you'll be able to do these no problem. Everyones just super excited because they're new and they want the achievements.

I had 24 Small Shiny Phone in my shop at 9K, and they vanished almost instantly! I didn't even get to feed those (very odd telephone-eating) Autumn Dragons a single one.
Not everybody is buying them to inflate, I can buy about 3 or 4 at around 20k before they go right up.

I've gotten like.. at least one for the last 5 items they've asked for, for AT MOST 11k.
Keep refreshing, and catch it when they ask for a new item. If it's already up to 100k, don't fucking buy it.
With all the time you're wasting whining about how you can't get the damn item, you probably miss when they ask for a new one and repeat your cycle.
