We will be clearing usernames (and pet names on those accounts) on Wednesday August 3rd at 4:00PM Subeta time. Good luck getting the names you are after!

It means they are clearing usernames from frozen accounts, along with pet names, so you will be able to have them if you wish.

usernames/pet names will only clear if it says 'This account will be eligible for clearing in 0.' on the profile.. right?
Question; I've been stalking a few names on an account that is well over a year old. Are those going to be cleared?

YEAH! I've been stalking some names for so long now!! Too bad it's 7 days before I get my Loyalty Totem, BUT not complaining; I'm very happy it's being done again. Thanks Keith!

No, you can't change your username for free. Clearing these usernames and pet names means that those names will be available again.
