Rule Change!
Rule Update!
We\'ve changed the rule regarding ForumText and signatures in the forums. While you may still receive both verbal and Official warnings if you exceed the limits, these no longer count towards your freeze total.
If you are given enough warnings over your ForumText or signature, your only punishment will be no longer being able to use those features in the forums :)

I have only one warning and that's because of this. Thank you for changing the rules. Does that means that the old warning will be deleted?

Yes, they did - they even reblogged the post from the confessions site. :"DDid someone read the confessions site? ;D
But I'm really happy about this development! Thank you SO much! :"D

Good. I once got a warning just because I didn't check that those Valenth adoptables grow bigger and exceeded the limit by 1 or 2 px... -_-

I've gotten a warning for this a looong time ago. Only warning I ever got, but oh well. Hope they do erase past warnings.

Will past warnings for this be lifted as well? Or do we have to request that?
I was wondering this as well...

YES!
All though with the new thing that checks it for us I don't think I'll be making that mistake again, at least I could live w/out the forumtext if I did XD

THANKS SO MUCH
I got frozen for this before we even have the forumset page letting us know what the size was. And it was horrible ;w;

ahhh, a much better solution than YOUR SUBETA LIFE IS NOW OVER BECAUSE YOU HAD AN OVERSIZED NUISANCE ON THE FORUMS DA DA DUNN. or at least I think it is :P

That's fantastic, thanks. :3 I've noticed that a lot of sites focus more on punishing rule-breakers than on just eliminating the problems caused by rule-breaking, and it gets kind of ugly. Subeta's cooler than that.

This is really amazing! I love Subeta and how they have actual people who know about our needs ;D
Thanks again! :)
Thanks again! :)

I've been so scared to add a forum text from getting a warning a few moths ago about it. ;_; I'm really happy this changed! <3

I'll have to see about getting my warning removed, it's got to be at least 3 years old. I don't even remember what is was even about, but T've always felt kind of tarnished by it.

Oh my gosh, I'm so happy about this! I was paranoid I would be frozen for making stupid mistakes on the boards. Thank you, Keith!

I've always thought that was excessive. And I remember people who thought people deserved it, "for not following the rules." Thank you for loosening up on this. I'm liking Subeta, these days. :)

oh no, i really liked people getting frozen for exceding the limit by one pixel, seemed as dangerous as duplicating stuff to me

That's good to know! :)
Verbal and Official warnings more than 2 years old may be eligible for removal due to expiration.

This is great! I thought it was such a trivial reason to be frozen over
Oh and User not found: just_call_me_tracy brings up a good point. For long time users, it would suck to still be held accountable for acts from years and years ago.

Thank goodness, I was so sad to have friends banned and leave the site for such a minor thing in the scheme of things

FINALLY! It was ridiculous to freeze people over it.
How many warnings would a user have to receive in order to not be allowed to have a forumset...? It would be nice to know.

mbif will the ban from forum test use be forever or will they be able to get it back after 6 months-1 year or something? :)

Verbal and Official warnings more than 2 years old may be eligible for removal due to expiration. Submit a ticket, Tracy, and a staffer can look over yours. :)

I never got in trouble in the forums. I have two warnings from the shoutbox. I have been a pretty good girl since then. Is there anyway after so many years warnings can be revoked?

I am glad to see that this issue is addressed. It seems rather silly to freeze over something as small as having your forum text be 5 inches too high.

People have been complaining about this forever...I'm glad to see that rule change. (: Thanks for the update; I think it's a much better system!

Thank you! The only warning I've ever gotten was for this infraction, nice to know it no longer counts!

How many is "enough" and is banning from the forum text feature for a set time period or forever?
Awesome change though :)

This sounds great, Keith, but could you please tell us exactly how many warnings "enough" would be, please? :) Thanks!

Seeing this change makes me really happy! I'm not entirely sure if it stemmed from the subetaConfessions on tumblr, but the fact that it came after the Subeta tumblr staff responded to the original post makes me feel good. I love that staff takes suggestions that users give, even when it's off the site. It's one of my favorite parts of Subeta, and it always has been.

I've never had a problem with my forumtext size but I agree that this isn't something a user should be frozen over.
