All of the items you can buy in the shop(except maybe the ones from the VIP shop) sell for a lot less than the cost of the point card. The most expensive wearable item, Midnight Lotus at 450 points, sells for 11.5mil. The 500 point plushie is only like 7mil. This is a great step towards an sP sink, I just don't think it's really worth it IMO.

I don't think they are retiring just making the items available again because they didn't do a restock war this past year. Also MC is a good sp sink so win/win.
