I normally don't read the pet spotlights, but I read this one. And now I'm incredibly sad. I think most of us have experienced having to put a beloved pet down, or are going to someday.

Such a sweet story. There is no better way to memorialize a loved one than to share their memories with others. Thanks for the tears this morning, it was a good cry.

Shoot why'd I read that. Crying and my friend's cat is being put down tomorrow morning this isn't fair. ;_; I'm gunna go sob for a few hours now.
I think this is the first time a pet on here has actually made me cry, oh god. A lot of pet owners can relate to this story- the way you told the story through his eyes is so perfect and just... very special. Your kitty definitely seemed like a special one, congrats so much on the win (:
