Not going to do this! I would rather just keep the weapon for when my pet is a Tier 9, then lose it and have a hard time finding or even buying Tier 9 weapons! That would change if they come out with something even better and just as powerful as this weapon. Otherwise it will be yet another achievement and title that I won't be getting, along with certain others out there.

So glad I know my Subeta and decided to sit on my points for a while, because if I'd spent them right away I'd have bought the sword and only have enough points to buy one staff.

@rhino_loupe - This wasn't originally going to come out, that's why it came out late. There was a miscommunication with the points for the staff, which wasn't caught until it was too late and then once caught they still had to come up with a solution.
Still trying to decide whether to keep or sell my staff. My pets can use it but is it strong enough to keep for battle? Still annoyed that I only got 2100 points even though I did every single thing in the plot except fight the last 2 impossible challengers.
LOVE the headdress. I don't see why this was added several days after the store was opened, though... it always seems the case that people who spend their plot points straight away get screwed (and no, I'm not saying this because I spent mine straight away... I didn't; I know better than that on Subeta by now ;))

Eh, the headdress doesn't even look that great. Sure it would complete the chaos set, but it isn't really worth it in the long run. I kinda wish they had told us this ahead of time, but it is a really clever idea

It sucks that I couldn't complete the plot due to the Fox Man turning into the assassin when the page refreshed on the third click. I like both the staff and the headdress as wearables.
...well I only bought one with my event points, but I want that title...and a staff for the wardrobe.
Suppose that means saving up to buy two from user shops. Totally worth it though. Good solution to the misprice in the event shop too.

Considering it...I know I'll never (or at least very rarely) use the staff, while the headdress might be useful. I guess I'll watch the prices for each and think about it. In retrospect, it is a pretty good solution.

I think this was a fantastic solution to the problem with the staff's release! Doctor Who title AND a prize? There's often a second wave of additions to prize shops and the like, so I don't know why anyone is surprised by the delay anyhow. I think it's always wise to wait a few days to spend points, coins, or the like.
Kinda of wished I spent my extra points getting this instead of all the other shit in the shop.

Nope. I'm not even a big battler, but the reason I'm not a big battler is because any decent weapon for my pet's tier costs an arm and a leg (I won't even get into how difficult it is to make sP if you can buy/sell CSC or sell art).

I've been holding my rift staff trying to decide whether to sell or use for wardrobe. But with people deleting them for the achievement the prices will probably go up. It's just too cool to delete and looks better than the headress for wearing.

I ended up getting the achievement, but only because I had enough points to get almost everything in the shop, on top of what I had already bought, after I bought the staff. And I may buy another for selling purposes, since a lot of the prizes don't appeal that much to me. Or aren't that expensive to buy from other users. c:

I'm actually really tempted to do this. I got the staff, which I don't much care for, as another wearable on my way to the wardrobe achievements and because I had planned to sell it later. Later profit or tiara, that's the question now.

There is no possible way for me to get that staff as I didn't participate much in the event (and I want all the wearables or as much as possible.) I have no hope of obtaining one (unless someone is willing to give me one).
Completely agree with InSaNe. If the staff is more important to you, then keep it. If you'd rather have the title/headdress, then you're basically just exchanging 1,000 plot points to get the wearable you'd prefer to own.

As somebody who is just getting into Doctor Who, I bought one and deleted it without question. :P It's a good thing there aren't too many plot prizes I want!
Some people are forgetting they don't HAVE TO collect achievements and can go on with their account without them.

Kudos for coming up with a solution for this that most people will be happy with :) Now I wish I waited another day before spending my points...
Great solution! Way to fix the pricing problem without having to change the weapon stats! I'll be honest... I'm pretty tempted to work for this achievement myself... Though I probably won't use my plot points towards it.
@Unwritten : There was a miscommunication apparently regarding how many plot points the staff was meant to cost. For such a high-tier weapon, it shouldn't have been only 1000 plot points and the user shop prize, because of this, was way lower than it should have been.
Basically, too many in the market = lower price than necessary. They didn't want to raise the point cost in the shop, which would have been unfair, and they didn't want to lower the weapon stats, as that would have been unfair. This is a great way of 'eating up' some of those staffs.

the only thing cruel about this is that it wasnt released sooner. i know myself and alot of others wasted our points on doubles and triples of things when we would have bought this for the achievement.
