I've been holding my rift staff trying to decide whether to sell or use for wardrobe. But with people deleting them for the achievement the prices will probably go up. It's just too cool to delete and looks better than the headress for wearing.
UGH DAMN IT I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE SAVED ALL THOSE POINTS.
But no, I had to waist them all on copies of everything that I didn't want just so I could not feel guilty about wasting a bunch of points. :/

I ended up getting the achievement, but only because I had enough points to get almost everything in the shop, on top of what I had already bought, after I bought the staff. And I may buy another for selling purposes, since a lot of the prizes don't appeal that much to me. Or aren't that expensive to buy from other users. c:

I'm going to get another staff from someone and sell the headdress.
If I wasn't going for every title I probably could/if I didn't want the title almost as badly as I want "The Doctor", I would've just bought one of the remaining Frankencluck pieces I'm missing.
(I'm not even a huge Doctor Who fan, for the record. :P)

I'm actually really tempted to do this. I got the staff, which I don't much care for, as another wearable on my way to the wardrobe achievements and because I had planned to sell it later. Later profit or tiara, that's the question now.
Thank you for the explanation. :-) It's a pretty wearable for now until my BD pet is high enough level to use it. :D
I bought two, one to delete one for wardrobe. Deleted one in the quick stock and no achievement. Whoops? :(
Why wasn't this achievement created immediately after the plot? Then if we didn't already spend most of our points away we'd still have a chance of getting this. >:C

This new achievement sucks! They should have released it BEFORE everyone spent their points! Not a week later! Now the staffs are overpriced.

OH COME ON ARE YOU CEREAL?! UGH that's just....no fair!! -cries- I wish this was told sooner D; I only have 520 points and I...I refuse to delete my staff ;3; but that title sounds lovely...-sigh- and...and ugh -cries in a corner while growing mushrooms-
@Allaur Thanks for sharing the info! That makes a lot of sense. I thought it seemed a bit cheap when it first came out too, not that I know much about weapons yet. :P
There is no possible way for me to get that staff as I didn't participate much in the event (and I want all the wearables or as much as possible.) I have no hope of obtaining one (unless someone is willing to give me one).
Completely agree with InSaNe. If the staff is more important to you, then keep it. If you'd rather have the title/headdress, then you're basically just exchanging 1,000 plot points to get the wearable you'd prefer to own.
I want the staff, so I'm just going to shrug at the existence of the achievement and move on. (After all, it's not like achievements really DO anything.)
