Not all chibi pets are the same colour as their common counterparts. The hipottu, mallarchy, serpenth, and swampie are all differently coloured too.
Anyway, not something I would own, but cute updates just the same.

I noticed artists are becoming a bit more liberal with the colours, but I don't know if the black is fitting for the torrey...especially as a Chibi. It looks nice, nonetheless... Good pose.
Harvester looks great too, although the eyes seem overly glossy which is strange because they're normally more...glowy, lol.

There are no hard and fast rules on the colors of chibis. We do have trends, but no real rules. ;)

Even if it does seem off-color, the Torrey is a DEFINITE improvement over what it used to look like. And the Harvester... how can it look so cute and yet malevolent at the same time? Awesome... and scary.

Chibi serpenth is field, chibi swampie is lilac :) Chibi pets aren't always the same color as common!
LOVE the torrey...I guess it's a little strange that it's black but personally that makes me love it more. :D
Interesting that the torrey is black when most chibis are the color of the normal pet (or a pastel version).
