Tres Chic, Day Five: Haute Couture
The votes have been tallied, and it is time to say goodbye to Sofi Marez. While her work was strong, it seems it wasn\'t strong enough to secure the top spot in this cut-throat fashion competition! As we say goodbye to Sofi and pick up some of her work in the Cash Shop for a limited time, each of the remaining contestants climbs ever closer to the top prize, their very own Subeautique line!
"I shall not lie, I am greatly disappointed. I have dedicated my life to teaching outsiders what true fashion is and they are still too blind to see it! They are the ones that should be mourning this day for they are the ones that have lost, not me. As for me, I shall continue on with my travels; perhaps there is another city out there that can more fully appreciate what I offer!"
And with Sofi traveling into the sunset, that leaves two contestants battling for our highest honor, and what more fitting a theme than haute couture. Vote for the designer that you think truly knows high fashion!

Yikes...Luciana's outfit for today doesn't even look close to Haute Couture...more like...casual, last minute Halloween outfit :'^(
I love Gwen, I look at her stuff and ask myself why I can't find/afford it in real life.
my opinion for the next event: the big prize (sbq collection) should be announced with the winner, so people actually vote for the design.
Really crossing my fingers at this point and hoping Luciana can pull a win (despite her latest outfit). Really was hoping that Sofi would win, now I'm just holding on to a thread of hope that Gwen (hot mess) won't win.
I like Lucianas style all in all better than Gwens girly style, but I just despise spiders, and if the SbQ-line would be the Haute Couture outfit... nooo.
It might be because i am not into fashion, but I am hoping something ELSE happens with this 'event'
Sofi was my second favorite and I'm sad she isn't one of the final two. Gwenyth is a slam dink again for me, and I think Luciana missed the boat, the pier and almost the ocean on this theme.

I have liked Luciana for all the rounds except round 2 (and I voted for Gwen instead). I hope Luciana wins! Though I think it will be Gwen.. She's still good. I think I'll be pleased with either.

I liked Sofi..but I also like Luci and Gwen! ;; I'm going to vote for Gwen this time, i think she fit the "haute couture" theme a lot better and I love the sheer skirt ^^
Ugh I really hope Gwen doesn't win, everything she does is just... too much. I kind of liked her design today, but I still voted for Luciana because overall, her designs are way more practical and classy, and would make an amazing SubQ line!
It has come down to my two favorites out of the entire thing. It was hard to choose who I liked better, but I eventually went with Gwen. She has been the best to me consistently.
Uff I loved the designs of Sofi, Gwenyt and Lucciana, I have been voting for Gwen all the time but this last round I had to vote for Luciana. I don't know who I want to win, I will love to see one of the designs of Gwen, especially the one with the animals theme - But I loved the Lucciana designs and I miss Sofi!
I enjoyed Sofi's designs as she was one of my two favourites but Gwyneth has designed stuff I will most likely never wear.
My favorite was always gwen because it is frilly and interesting. I don't really like the spider theme, and I also liked sofi marez. The design was just really bad last round though and I can see why she's out. Scales just aren't fashionable. The real shame about this round though is that Gwen's design isn't nearly as lively as the other rounds. What's going to come out of it when one of them wins or loses?
I feel like a lot of people voted for Gwyneth because of her art style, rather then the outfits themselves. Based on this round, I really regret voting for Luci. :(
Gwen's is gorgeous and I certainly won't be sad if she wins, but Luciana's distinctive, unique and fun use of themes has been fantastic right from the start, so I am sticking with Luciana. I want to see much more from her. :)
As someone who's loved Gwen's designs the entire time, I'm very satisfied with this. Her fruit design wasn't too great, but I didn't like any of the others, either, so it wasn't hard to keep voting for her.

Thank goodness that Gwenyth pulled herself together. It's a shame only one can win. I've liked designs from Luciana, Sofi and Gwenyth throughout the competition.
I didn't really like any of the entries las round though out of the entries, the one I liked the most was Sofi's so it was the one I ended up voting for. Generally, I've been pretty consistently voting for either Sofi or Gwyneth in each round, so this time I ended up voting for Gwyneth, because I found all the contrasting fabrics and textures in Lucian's to visually clash too much. I also found her design way too simplistic for what I usually think of when I think haute couture,whereas Verdi embodied that to a T.

Gwen has been my favorite, and this dress is stunning! It really does scream haute couture to me.

I dont like spiders but i love the simplicity, a few of those peices you could match with other things. I look for layers i can use and i dont like chunky lace or poofyness like gwen's design. I really hope lucianna wins since her items were more layered nicely with good design. most of gwens stuff is chunky big layers-so i dont like it all.lucianna for the win and Pout i agree with you!

While I love Gwen, I'm torn, I really like the classic simplicity of Luci's design today, the sleek jacket, the lovely shade for the stockings, the neat updo, but Gwen, fashion shows and all that are not for practicality, and she definitely is doing the catwalk well with that.

Oh no! SOFI WHY?! I was kinda secretly hoping for an upset with a Luci/Sofi finale, since I honestly thought Gwen deserved to get the boot for that over-the-top literal strawberry design, even though I loved her animal one.
