Tres Chic, Day Five: Haute Couture
The votes have been tallied, and it is time to say goodbye to Sofi Marez. While her work was strong, it seems it wasn\'t strong enough to secure the top spot in this cut-throat fashion competition! As we say goodbye to Sofi and pick up some of her work in the Cash Shop for a limited time, each of the remaining contestants climbs ever closer to the top prize, their very own Subeautique line!
"I shall not lie, I am greatly disappointed. I have dedicated my life to teaching outsiders what true fashion is and they are still too blind to see it! They are the ones that should be mourning this day for they are the ones that have lost, not me. As for me, I shall continue on with my travels; perhaps there is another city out there that can more fully appreciate what I offer!"
And with Sofi traveling into the sunset, that leaves two contestants battling for our highest honor, and what more fitting a theme than haute couture. Vote for the designer that you think truly knows high fashion!

nooo, im really not liking luciana's at all it's very hipster whereas the other contestants branched out and tried mythological things and different time eras. I'm disappointed.

I actually prefer Gwen's this time around, but I haven't liked any of her other outfits, and I've generally liked Luci's. So I'd rather Luci win.

Luciana completely missed the theme, I feel. :/ Was going to vote for Gwen regardless but this seems like a really easy choice regardless.

Gwenyth Verdi stole all my votes. I did like Luciana's outfit..Spiders and Polka dots oh my. Just a bit simple for me :) Hope to see them in a bag :D
Really sad to see Sofi go. :( She was my favourite in all the rounds, with Gwenyth coming in close second.

Oh darn, I liked Sofi. But it was tough to choose from any of these three. Loving the stockings though.
I voted for Luciana because Gwen's seemed a tad too busy to me. But now that I look back at them, I kind of wish I voted for Gwen. Luciana's may be a tad too simplistic and she played it a bit safe. This isn't one of my favorites of Gwen's, but she definitely took a more creative approach than Luciana did.

What a nice variety of items in Sofi's bag, I love the eyes!
This last round was tough but I went with Gwen. Luci's design is good, but seemed too simple for the theme. Looks like a cute outfit someone would put together to wear to a Morostide party.

Gwen has been my favorite, and this dress is stunning! It really does scream haute couture to me.
Luciana's fell short for me since I hate spiders and I just can't move past that. But her other designs have been quite strong.
In the end, Gwen got my vote. I've liked more of her designs overall.

It is strange that Sofi is gone, I was definitely expecting her and Gwen in the final round. :c I voted for Gwen, I feel that she captured the theme more.

I think Subeta has obviously seriously achieved something when I get as attached to people here as I do on shows like Project Runway... >>; UHM ANYWAY> I really, really, really don't want Gwen to win... but her design was actually better this round. The first I've liked, actually.
I dont really like either of the designs this time, but for Haute Couture, where they could've gone all out and crazy, I feel like Luciana went with something so safe. I feel like the spiders had nothing to do with her design and were just thrown on there, and I feel like compared to her other work, it just didn't measure up. Very dissappointed.
