now that I'm in costume and unbelievably late - I'd like to point out it would be nice if there were some red fingerless gloves in with that pink dress and blond spiky hair. A pair of red boots with metal on the edge would be nice too. If you ever felt like adding any extra, you know ;)
Keith - May I personally take a moment to thank you for bringing back Epicon? Because if I'm remembering correctly, you didn't plan on doing it again. So THANK YOU for giving us another one. :v
Does anyone know of a good guide for this event? I've never heard of it & have no idea how to participate! :P
Scythe - Your points will stay and you can still spend them in the old shop; you only won't be able to buy 2013 EpiCon items with your points from 2011.
Aww, I was hoping to use new points to buy old items as I did not have time to participate last time :(
So much stuff I want out of the old shop but never earned enough points to get much of anything. sigh
Will the points earned in this years epicon be retroactive and used to purchase items from past years? I hope not, because if we are not allowed to save our points for future use, future points should not be retroactive.

I usually don't have the time to participate fully in plots and timed events so I've always really appreciated points being rolled forward. Sucks for me.
I had 4 points and I have now used them ;) I forgot there were a few things I actually could buy.
I think this is a perfectly good idea and anyone who's miffed and otherwise has clearly forgotten that epicon points -CAN- be purchased via a card with sP.

@Its_Just_Me n it occured to me that this meant that epicon points arent cummulative and while like the RD new prizes are added to the prize pool they may be seperated by year (like ZD) but one cannot pool points or rely of 2011 points to buy the newer items and hoping one can buy all items from both point shops with this years points .
...Is Mazes and Mahars finally coming back, now? Why did they make Omen Raiders into a regular game, but not that?
Thank you for not making us need to use the old points right away. I still have a bunch of points, and use them to buy things for friends' wishlists. :)
i have a weird feeling that we may use either the masquerade system or wizard tokens (i find very suspicious that the wizard is the weekend quest the weekend previous the event, considering that not so long ago de wizzy was the w.q. And that doesnt happen that often)

Thought Keith wasn't going to do this idea again... ah well. If I had more than two points left, I'd be ticked about this. Sorry for those who saved their points in hopes of getting something better next time. Why aren't you letting people use their previous points anyway?
Anasazi I would think you wouldn't be able to buy 2011 items with this years points because it will be a different currency.
Can we have a clarification if or not 2011 shop items can be bought with this years points or are the heading the pirates/islanders shop way ?
Is it safe to say that points earned during Epicon 2013 also won't be able to be spent in the 2011 prize shop?
Could you please specify whether they can still be used for 2011 prizes or will the whole 2011 shop + currency be obsolete after this years event starts?
