could someone take the time to explain what cosplay and epicon are and what the heck i need to be doing??? wasnt active this time last year??? profile comment or smail is fine.
The description box should have a better format for text, I might have to re-do what I wrote because the box mashes it all into a huge paragraph which is not what I was going for...
Coming up with a cosplay that I liked was pretty hard for me.:O Since this is my first Epicon, I decided to enter for fun. Hopefully and ok-ish number of people are aware of the show my HA was based from.
Very pleased to know that CW is separate. So people with the CW items that were MADE as cosplay won't be competing with those who have to work with regular Subeta wearables. :) Hopefully the setup for judging will be better than last Epicon though! (And more variety in the winners. XD)

Whoo! Took a bunch of sp and lots of fiddling but I'm very happy with my cosplay! Can't wait to see all the others!! :D

Got my Attack on Titan cosplay in the non-CW bracket. I think I did decent on what I had in my wardrobe on the top of the head idea.

Tribunal, I think it's very fair that they have a separate contest for people using CWs. Otherwise, some badass CW-toting HA owned by someone very wealthy would sweep the entire contest, I think.

Can we do something about backspacing on the contest page? I lost a large chunk of Description & Inspiration because my 'reference image' was not in the proper format, which the page itself fails to say what it should be before hand, jpg is my default. Thank You.

If people are getting errors for PNGs, changing mine to a gif and taking out the underscores worked for me.

Submitted, but it keeps refusing to let me submit the reference image. It's the right image format (gif) and it doesn't pop up any errors or anything, but it simply won't show up!

You can, and should, cosplay anything you desire. Book, comic, movie, show, internet meme, and even an original character ! In real life I have seen amazing versions of ALL of these running around. On a site like this/a contest, it's simply more common (and easier for a reference image), for somebody to cosplay a movie, show, or comic book character. But that really is not the limit.

@shadowstalker You shouldn't need to download your avatar; the file upload is for a reference image for the character you're cosplaying as, if that's what you're referring to!

The EPICon Building is exactly as it has been sine the end of the last Restock War. Might it not be a good idea to change the page!!!!! Also unless the usual glitches on the site every time there is a new event are taken care of nothing is going to be very entertaining.
how does one get to the building? when i go to EpiCON i just see the RS war from last time.

If you wardrobe does not work, clear your browsing history and cache. It worked for me and many others.

I couldn't get my wardrobe to work. I did a cache/cookies clear just for kicks and giggles (done one not long ago and it didn't seem to help) and...well, now I'm in! You all may want to try it for the sake of it. :)
