Celtic - Adopting a pet means from the create pet screen. They will count, referrals take a day to process :).

So, say I referred a friend today who is currently pending, they have 10000sP, but can't adopt a pet yet because they are new. Does that mean they won't count?

Oh how I wish a few hundred of my FB friends would click on the posts from all the achievements I've been getting with Epicon. I'd be rolling in CSC. Nice to do, but sadly, I don't know of anyone that would join. *sigh*
