Today marks the fifth anniversary of The Great Pandemic, and that means that it is once again time to honor the departed and celebrate our own survival of the diseases that have cut so many other lives short. Don't forget to offer your thoughts to those that passed by laying flowers at, or offering a kiss to, the Survival Memorial in Centropolis.
Today also marks the second anniversary of the vaccine that ended zombie infection once and for all. While this holiday may be a somber one for many Subetans, this reporter plans to hold on that ray of sunshine while partaking in this year's festivities.

GreenMilo20, that's actually a neat idea haha. I think the new flowers are definitely strange. They remind of me yoshi's island.
Anyone else getting a "Little Shop of Horror" vibe from the new "mysterious" flowers that are being left around to offer up to the memorial? I'm willing to bet this year's plot will have the zombies and the living team up together to fight off a plant invasion!

No zombies? My favorite event is officially RUINED. This time of year is all pink and sweet irl- I thought the whole idea was to go AWAY from irl holidays.
I wish she would turn out to be wrong. :( Zombies were my favorite part of Subeta and I've been here 8 1/2 years. I loved watching the strains develop.

Man, I miss Zombies. It makes me giggle though that 2 years ago everyone was complaining about "Ooooh all you guys ever do is Zombies, do something newwww" and then they did and now everyone is mad about the zombies being gone :'D Looking forward to seeing something interesting this year though!
For me no zombies or plot equal just another boring cookie cutter event were you do this thing for point to buy in a shop.Yes the items are always nice but it lacks the pizzazz an interest that mark a good event that makes you hate to log out.
I assumed because it was going to be "gruesome" there was still a chance at that super strain. I just thought there was a more solid statement. I still have hope, lol.
I've been pretty bummed out lately and I just hope there will be zombies. Survival just isn't the same without zombies. And I wish for whatever 'gruesome' things will be available soon..

So unless somehow the Zombie strains start to evolve and become immune somehow it seems to be no more strains.

Glad to see it's survival again but kind of disappointed in no Zombie strains again. Hoping this is part of a plot or something.

You didn't settle anything between the two factions and made it all end on a disappointing love story that you vetoed in the most immature and unimaginative way possible. Wow. I've been so unexcited about Subeta for so long now I 100% forgot it was time for my usual favorite holiday. I can't decide whether to get excited or not...but I think I'll be optimistic. For alchemy if nothing else. ALCHEMY, WOO, BRING IT ON!
Will there be a good story involving Subeta characters? That's the best part and what I consider "plot", anyway. I like to see Subeta's "story" continue.

I consider the lack of a definitive answer on new zombie strains to be a sign of hope, til we hear otherwise. :)
5 year anniversary of my Zombieness ! Jeez, I've been Zombie far longer than I've been human.
Super sad that there's no strains of a zombie virus this year. I was seriously unlucky to join the year after they stopped doing it. Hopefully it'll come back later when zombies aren't as overplayed and there can be a fresh take.

I enjoyed the zombie skins and everything, but I'm interested in seeing something new, so I'm excited for this year's Survival! c:
Now I'm actually curious to see what does happen. I have to admit I wasn't really all that excited about Survival til I saw the facebook post.
No plot? Thank you for that! Looking forward to the new features of course, just couldn't stomach a big plot right now so hearing that there won't be one makes me happy.

I think i can sit out again, sitting in a corner, regretting i cured myself. Such an awesome event turned into a horrible nightmare with hearts and pink pets that freak me out. ;p

I don't mind a plot, just remember that there are squeamish users on this site. I happen to be one. And I don't want to not play Subeta for a month. So if you do do a zombie plot for the users who like it, don't make it so the users who don't like it miss out on a ton of items/achievements and/or have to become zombies themselves.
