Ahh, there you are. I do have a delightful surprise for you all. (Certainly an even greater surprise for those that haven't been following along!)
The offers of friendship worked! Tempest is happy again. It turns out The Great Tempest is actually a great big softie, and she absolutely THRIVES on company. She would love to visit you from time to time, on random occasions - but if she doesn’t discharge that electrical energy first she won’t be able to get near anybody! So I’ve helped her out a little by providing her with a special bottle that she can filter a portion of her energy into. The thing is, if you were to use this energy on certain pets, it will imbue them with the power of the Tempest!
Look at that! The bottle of Tempest’s energy has become a Storm Potion. And right now it is affecting the wyllop, kumos, escalade, aeanoid, anyu, fester, kanis, warador and popoko. I’m sure over time it will affect even more pets!
If you’re lucky enough to be visited by Tempest, she may grant you a storm potion of your own. Or maybe another storm-infused item!
Oh, and if you have been keeping up with the events, you may notice a Tempest Lightning Rod In your possession (among other things). This is a special item I created for the possibility you’d like to immediately summon Tempest to you. It only works once, however!
Now I need to get back to my hut, things to do! And Tempest seems delighted with her new friends, so I think it’s all ended up working out.
Tempest smiles again, and then takes four great paces into the sky, fading as she does so. Her time on Subeta has certainly been eventful. Hopefully you can see her again one day soon!

Honestly the fact that some people are getting the rod and others aren't is pretty fucked up. What determines who got one and who didn't? If we all participated then I think it'd only be fair but hey, your call. :/ Kind of lame that we get awesome pets shoved in our faces and then a small chance of actually being able to get one.

So are the people who got screwed out of completing the plot going to get any answers? Or are we gonna just be ignored because apparently the site itself glitching and not notifying us of a plot update is clearly our fault and therefor we don't deserve to complete it or get the full rewards despite us putting in the work. Despite the previous part of said plot outright TELLING us we'd be notified of an update? I mean forgive us for not realizing we still had something to do when we received NOTHING to base that idea on. And forgive some of us for having to work and therefor not being able to obsessively refresh the news page either. Yes I'm pretty pissed off if you couldn't tell. I don't like being cheated out of something I worked for, especially when this was the first plot I could participate in.

What a short but sweet event. I loved it. And the new color is to die for. Seriously wonderfully done staff. I just wish the site wasn't so damn laggy.

This color reminds me a lot of Galactic pets, and other color I adore! I wanna turn one of my pets into a Tempest Wyllop RIGHT NOW but I know I should wait until more are released! URGH WAITING IS THE HARDEST PART!
Figured out the issue.. Looks like I won't be getting a lightning rod, after all.. I followed this plot religiously so I wouldn't miss anything. But apparently the last step of the plot was to follow the "drip" link in the news post to give Tempest a flower. I missed that step BECAUSE, yes there was no ping for it, annoyingly, but also because I clicked that "drip" link after the news was posted, and it took me to the world map. I figured it had no significance. I would have finished the plot and got that flipping lightning rod if that link had linked correctly. So incredibly frustrated!
AHHHH I'M SO EXCITED!!! I NEED THE WYLLOP. BUT THIS IS JUST A FRIGGIN SEXY PET COLOR IN GENERAL.

THESE PETS ARE AMAZING!!! I LOVE THEM ALL!!! This hasta be one of THE best pet colours on site!!! :D :D :D I'm brutally in love with the Kumos, in fact I had to with hold a very large SQUEEEEE when I saw it! That Wyllop is amazing, too! The Kanis and Popoko are adorable, but...they kinda make me wanna cry...they look so scared D:

lol oops accidentally complained about random event thing before much time had passed... I'm glad for the Token Shop restock tho :') I realized that I haven't really said anything about the pets SO HERE WE GO
The art on these new pets is sooo gorgeous, I'm really really in love with the color scheme! i think the grey/purple/pink is a lot more interesting than traditional yellow or blue, and it just works so well hhhh, it's very appealing g the shading on.. like, all of these is just phenomenal, you artists did a great job with it!! I really love how it's not OVERdetailed but it's still impressive to look at.
the kanis is just 2CUTE, i'm in love with the pose and expression!! those eyes... aaaa ;u; i love the wyllop a lot as well, and as far as kumos go, storm is easily in the top percentage. :') the escalade looks amazing, I can't get over how.. touchable the fur looks ?? the fester is really boss (tho something about the head looks a LITTLE off, im just not rly sure what??), i love its pose and detailed feets. ALL OF THE OTHERS ARE RLY RLY GOOD TOO, this is just.. a Very Good batch of pets and I cannot get over how A+ the lightning looks, what the hell, Subeta artists are too good.

So excited, I called it on twitter. I love the popoko most and the colour scheme is nice and different.
Unfortunately the festers head looks off. The angle on the bottom jaw doesn't quite match the top, making it appear to be missing half of his face. I'm sorry that is the best way I could describe it, part of it looks like its turning away while the other is facing us.

These colors are all amazing thank you! Subeta has been making it really tough for me in choosing what to turn Archmage into, still thinking noktoa but hmm when it comes out in this color or nightmare I might explode.
I feel like Celinoxes are wickedly forgotten. We haven't had a new color for them in what feels like forever...

These pets are gorgeous, but I'm disappointed in the way we get them :x;; Chance-based things are incredibly frustrating.. I mean, it's too early to be all dramatic or anything, but I rarely have any luck in things that depend on chance and that really puts a damper on my enthusiasm for this new color. I was so looking forward to this, but eh. I'll wait a few days before submitting any Real Feedback or whatever since I suppose it's possible this event will be relatively common or something, but man.. I feel kind of let down haha, why did such an anticipated color have to end up luck-based...?
The art for the pets IS really insanely good though, holy crap, the shading is just A+ on pretty much all of them. I don't think I'll be getting any from this batch but I'm really happy to see this color finally become a thing

So far I've gotten the Tempest Lightning Rod, the Tome and a Nico Dartboard which I'm really glad I got (after how much of a jerk he was)
