By the Power of Tempest!
Ahh, there you are. I do have a delightful surprise for you all. (Certainly an even greater surprise for those that haven't been following along!)
The offers of friendship worked! Tempest is happy again. It turns out The Great Tempest is actually a great big softie, and she absolutely THRIVES on company. She would love to visit you from time to time, on random occasions - but if she doesn’t discharge that electrical energy first she won’t be able to get near anybody! So I’ve helped her out a little by providing her with a special bottle that she can filter a portion of her energy into. The thing is, if you were to use this energy on certain pets, it will imbue them with the power of the Tempest!
Look at that! The bottle of Tempest’s energy has become a Storm Potion. And right now it is affecting the wyllop, kumos, escalade, aeanoid, anyu, fester, kanis, warador and popoko. I’m sure over time it will affect even more pets!
If you’re lucky enough to be visited by Tempest, she may grant you a storm potion of your own. Or maybe another storm-infused item!
Oh, and if you have been keeping up with the events, you may notice a Tempest Lightning Rod In your possession (among other things). This is a special item I created for the possibility you’d like to immediately summon Tempest to you. It only works once, however!
Now I need to get back to my hut, things to do! And Tempest seems delighted with her new friends, so I think it’s all ended up working out.
Tempest smiles again, and then takes four great paces into the sky, fading as she does so. Her time on Subeta has certainly been eventful. Hopefully you can see her again one day soon!

Was there anything specific you needed to get the Lightning Rod? Because I never got one. I got the tome and the dartboard, but no lighting rod.

1) I noticed that the random event where Tempest appears for us is like the Tempest Rod, am I right? She can give us the Potion, but also the exclusive sticker, antlets, earrings, etc... << IT WOULD BE NICE IF A MOD CONFIRM THAT, PLEASE
2) If anyone flowering is reading this, it would be nice if you wait until the errors get fixed, 'cause you can give someone a flower, get an error, and the flower may be delivered or not... (if you keep flowering, count your flowers on your inventory)

YES! YES! I was so hoping for a new color! I hope Tempest graces other pets with this beautiful color too! :D
HOLD IT HOLD IT. I got a Tome, but no Lightning Rod. I followed the plot religiously, other than getting a swing in at Tempest, because my pets are puny weak. Was it random which item we received (in which case..D: ), or did that one little thing not land me a Rod? ...anyone want to trade my Tome for the Rod...?
I'm beyond excited to finally see storm pets on the site! These look gorgeous so far, my favorite is the Anyu. I'm going to look forward to seeing a lain or noktoa in this color. u
I like this new pet color. Little disappointed the Anyu isn't more of a nod to Tempest herself, but I'm glad storm pets are finally a thing. uwu Thanks guys!

WHY Subeta? The Rod looks like a chance bag D: If it gives exclusive items, I'll have to buy a lot of those consumism mode on
...wait no I never got pinged for the next step of the plot so I missed it because I was at work. WHAT THE HECK GUYS That's not cool! I did all of that work and now I'm screwed because the ping was glitched?? I can't finish it now because none of the links work anymore. So let me guess, there's no way for me to get a rod at all and I'm basically out of luck now right? Because if so I am incredibly angry
I want so badly to like these pets, but most of them seem cluttered. : I really do like the Kanis and Warador, though. :) I think this will be like the nostalgic pets for me. Great concepts, decent executions. :)
Does the "(among other things)" refer to other prizes or other things to be noticed? Because all I got was the lightning rod.
I just died after seeing how gorgeous these new pets are. I've been stuck on ideas for two of my pets but I'm pretty sure that I'll gain inspiration with this new pet color!

If you haven't gotten the Lightning Rod yet, wait a few minutes might take some time for the prizes to be handed out like when the battle prizes took time to be passed out.

I never got the alert that the plot had updated. So I didn't know the next step was available. I kept checking but I never got it. I tried so hard to stay up to date. This isn't fair.....
