Darkonite Revamp LIVE
Ding, dong, they've been revamped, the darkonites, have been revamped; ding, dong, they've finally been revamped!
Ahem. Yes, the dark and devilish little beasts have updated their color schemes a little as well as their postures, and they're hoping you may learn to love them a little more in the process! They can't help it that the zapper is so fond of them.
To keep up with the new looks, the darkonite plushies and beanbags have also been updated!

Mother of shading, these guys look beautiful! I've been holding off on creating a reborn darkonite because of the revamp, but I think I'm going to love it considering how nice they look.
They really needed an update but there was a whole lot of people asking for the tails to be moved away from the legs... I guess I'm one of them who agreed that the tails should have been moved.
Oh well w/e they're much nicer than before either way.

Eww. I liked the old one better. This one is much "too" cute over being dark looking. /not impressed.
Meh... Looks like people like them, but I can scratch them off the list of pets I want. They looked sassy & cranky before, which I liked. Now they just seem to be pondering their own prettiness, which I think was a trait covered by other pets. Oh well... I can't like everything you do, Subeta gods.
Aaaa, what a nice revamp! The art is really such a massive improvement.. I really love the shading on these. The color choices seem a lot better too, I like how much brighter and more eye-catching they are. o
i'm a little disappointed that the arid darkonite no longer has the black-white-red color scheme, that was a very important part of my pet itoshiki's design :'(

beautiful. easily one of my favourite common pets now. can't wait to see revamps of colours (LIKE ANGELIC!) or new releases. i see a dark future for myself. a darkonite future heh heh hheh..
I'm disappointed the artist did not take the position of tails into consideration for the final revamp. But, I'm happy to see the tiny scowl has returned and there is a little more brain showing. I like the lighter-coloured socks too, so overall, it's a great revamp that just needed to be done with. xD

These look amazing! They keep the personality of the old darkonites but the art is so much better :3

Though I do agree they could look a little skinnier, and have their tails up, this is still a great revamp! :D
Oooh, I really like this revamp. I feel like the overall personality of the Darkonite is still intact, and the coloring is super sharp. Awesome work! c:

I like it but i feel like it takes away from the Darkonites attitude and more... alley cat-ish appearance? I wish the tails were up and they weren't so chubby.. I feel like they were meant to be these starved experiements... I'm hoping the nightmare doesn't need to reflect this new pose as the whole point of my nightmare one is to LOOK creepy. He does. This revamp just reminds me of grumpy cat :/
It's an improvement but I don't like that the gold one looks shiny. Hopefully that's the only one though.
Aaaawwwwww, they are sooooo cute and grumpy! There are so many little elements to the Darkonite that I've always loved, but with this update I can admire them even more :)

Oooh. This is actually a revamp I can stand behind. It is gorgeous. :) Come to think of it, I remember voting for it, so. yay! ^_^
I was hoping that the tails would have been put up, as they seem a little invisible now. Other than that, nice improvement.
@Jazzy I know the feet were the same on the old version. Thus no darkonites amongst my pets. Apparently making a statement on why I wouldn't get one is "complaining" now. Not only that, saying I'm "picking on" the artist is waaaaaaaaay overreacting to my statement.
I love the Darkonite a lot I've been looking at this post for awhile now at first I didn't like it (even though I thought it was the best revamp) mainly it's was the tails for me I liked that they were up in the old pose. However I'm starting to love it the more I look at it yes I'd like for the tails to be up but there will probably be a color where that is the case, so I'm actually very happy with the revamp, I really think the artist did an awesome job keeping the original attitude of the Darkonite. <3 thank you :3
Are people being so anal-retentive that they have to have "matching paws" on these to be happy? Seriously? The artist did a fantastic job on them in every detail and
the paws/feet on the old one were just the way these ones are on the new ones...just like the hikeis. If you want matching paws on an animal, I kindly suggest you try a different species and stop
complaining. I'm not sure who the artist is that did the revamp but I'm pretty sure they don't appreciate being picked on because these don't meet your "picky" standards. :)

I know these are fantasy pets, but I have the same problem with these that I do with hikeis - their feet don't make sense. I know there's so much on so many of the pets that couldn't possibly have evolved that way, but for some reason the mismatched feet bother me. Perhaps if they were more obviously chimeras of some kind...
I wasn't sure at first, but the more I look at them, the more I like them. The extra glowy bits on the gold is a nice touch. I personally have always liked Darkonites. C=
I've never seen such a struggle with revamping a pet - the Darkonite proved to be one heck of a challenge with how opinionated our community was throughout the process! I sincerely applaud the effort the staff put into giving the Darkonite a new look and pleasing its members in the process. I think the new design looks great! Thank you! (: ♥️
