Peka-Boo Opening Night!
Gracious, it's been a long day for us behind the scenes here at the Peka-Boo Festival! Who knew so many things could go wrong? First the Taco Truck broke down in the middle of nowhere (overheating! They should not have been testing their spicy recipes on the road in the burning sunshine!) and then we caught a green haired man trying to sneak into the grounds with a bag full of graffiti paint and a portable pizza oven - we're not quite sure what he was planning to do with it, but we've confiscated the paint and sent him on his way!
So we're off to a smidgen of a delayed start, but we have most everything in place now! You've been doing great with your Battle of the Bands submissions - keep them coming! Remember submissions will close at 11:59pm on Sunday July 20th! I'm sure you've all been working up an appetite with that frenzied instrument playing. Luckily our food trucks will be serving all night, and you can pay a visit to Oatmeal, the new resident golden goat, who will help you with all your worries. Or even stop by The Wishing Shrub, where you can grant wishes as well as make some of your own.
The Fashion Yurts will be open tomorrow, I've had a preview of some of the things inside and they're just darling - definitely worth the wait! Until then you can pick up some Peka-Boo branded merchandise from the Merch Tent, stop in at the First Aid Tent for some light pamphlet reading, or if you're a VIP maybe you'd like to relax in the VIP Lounge with Johannes (if you can find him!) and some sexy drinks.
And for those of you who are worried about missing out on festival achievements, feed those worries to Oatmeal! We're not starting any of the achievement tracking until tomorrow, July 18th (from 12:00am).
Now, I have some more work to do! There's more things to come mid-festival that need organising, I'll talk to you all again tomorrow!

The 1st wish is "free" without having to grant one? Not for me, it wouldn't let me make one, kept saying I had to grant one first. Think I'll forget about this unless they change it... a lot.
Um, wow, lol, all this fooooodddd. It is gonna break me. And there are some really greedy people on here to be asking impossible-to-get items. Really people, you need to set your sights more realistically and ask for items that is actually in user shops and not 50mill... If those people get what they asked for I will be amazed.
Also do you have to have a VIP Ticket AND a VIP Lanyard to get into the tent or can it just be one or the other? Someone smail me because i wont find their reply on here.

I got a wish granted and would like to return it But I am NOT paying millions and millions for any of those items come on people be Realistic in your wishes

The first set of wishes were "free", as I was able to wish for something without granting one first.
I did see a number of "cheaper" (like under 1mil) things before it was changed, I think mine was like ~150k.

Is there something wrong with the wishing shrub?I tried to make a wish but it said no CWs and that I couldn't make a wish until I granted one. So I checked others' wishes to see if i could grant one and there were CWs! WTF?
Those wishes on the wishing shrub are ridiculous. I'd buy those things myself before I give them to someone. LOL. They might have to rethink that concept. LOL. No one would get their wishes granted.

Just curious... if you have to grant a wish on the wishing shrub to make a wish... then how did the first set of wishes get up there?

I made a wish and it said I'd get a notification if someone bought it, and NOW it's saying there's no room and I need to buy someone something. (Which I did after making my wish.) So is my wish there and this is just a wait-until-tomorrow thing or did I get glitched out of my wish because it changed to people having to buy things first?

When you click the link it's supposed to get to a "quest", where you have the "I have this item" button. In 5 minutes if you don't complete the quest, the item will return to the list. Please, do that?

I was able to grant a simple wish, so hopefully can someone can grant my simple one in return. Maybe it'll start a nice change, but I reaally doubt the goodness of the average Subetan user after everything that's currently in there :/
