Subeta Birthday Cake Contest - Entries Closed

Thank you all for the wonderful cake entries! The entries for the cake contest are now closed.

We\'re all super starving and will be voting for our favorite cakes over the next several days. We can\'t wait to share the winners with you and are looking forward to this special anniversary even more now!

I DEMAND that the subeta staff not only show us pictures of the cakes, but also invent a Willy Wonka-like system to enable us to reach into our screens, grab the digital cake, and pull it out into reality so that we can also eat all the cake.

just2b - I had the same problem. I had this fantastic idea but couldn't find the candy mold I needed. Well, I found it but I couldn't get it delivered in time. lol Then my white chocolate wouldn't temper properly so had to go an alternate route. A week's worth of trial and errors but I'm still happy with what I ended up with. :) I can't wait to see what everyone else did. :D

This was a lot of fun! I had very low expectations for my own cake, but it ended up coming together really well, and I'm getting a lot of good feedback about it on Facebook. I hope the Subeta staff like it too! :) My co-workers are enjoying the spoils today. :D
