Peril at the Patch!
There is a characteristic nip in the air, the telltale wood smoke on the breeze that heralds the beginning of Morostide, however one feature of the season remains conspicuously absent- the opening of the Skelly Pumpkin Patch. This year, the gates remain locked, the house on the hill dark and silent.
Where is the ornery but lovable Pumpkin Partisan? Why the eerie quiet in a season normally so filled with thrills? Has Lord Jaxon Skelly finally tired of inviting outsiders to the family pumpkin patch? Only time will tell!

The gate is locked, yes. However, the scene shows us what's inside the gate as if we too, are inside the gate. So if we're locked in...where are our PP freebies? ;)

I know it wont happen but I sort of wish this would lead to an escape the room type game where we have to find clues in his house. Maybe he was larping carmen san diego and got lost so we have to help snowflaik get him back 8D
This pic reminds me of an ollllld win 95 era game, something house or manor, where you had to check out this mansion of horrors and not die or something.
Aaaand of course I'm having abdominal surgery--which will require me to stay in the hospital for a few days--smack dab in the middle of a Morostide with what looks like at least a mini plot. I'm counting on you to bring me my laptop as often as possible, family! :P

maybe it's one of those cases where a lone recluse (jaxon) dies in his home and no one bothers to check on him (seriously, who visits him outside of morostide). by the time anyone figures out it's kind of been a while since he's been seen, he's skeletonized in a chair at the back of the house.

SO excited! It's been a while since I participated in a plot and a Morostide plot is absolutely scrumptious!
Nightlady came in, hit him with a poison dagger, drug him out the door in a cocoon and now Renaud is taking over as our resident pumpkin denizen.
