While completing any of the quests found through the Quest Shop, you will have a chance to get a New Year Token as a reward which can be spent in the New Years Shop! We’ve got a fun selection of items this year.
You will also notice a number of old new year themed items have been brought back, so take a close look at the different tabs in the New Years Shop. Who knows what wishlist item you might come across!
NOTE: We are aware that the shop organization of previous years' items is off. We will look into this and let you know when it is fixed. For now, you can find this year's items in the 2014 tab.

@Amber are the tokens no longer being given out? Just thought I'd ask since there was no announcement or end day noted anywhere. V.v Sorry just tried looking everywhere and there's no news about it ending.
@ROCK I believe the shop is open all year, you just can't earn tokens except the first of the year. I went there a couple months ago to buy some food items for my gourmand pet. If you lose the link you can get to it through the "Other Currencies" section. I want to buy some more food for my pet but they're too expensive.
I just have to say that this has been a nice change from the floaters. It means that I can get on here when I can during the day and do what I need to do to get my tokens and then get back to my real life and I do not feel I have missed out on either. I also love the fact that older items are in place. Not that I would say we have to quest every time, but it is nice to have something else to do and honestly I should quest more so it brings out the best in everything. Thanks

Ah, seems like the puppy was accidentally saved as a GIF, even though it says PNG. If you download/save the overlay by itself, it'll save as a GIF.

Thank you for bringing back older items as well :) I bought all the 2014 items I wanted last night using the points I had left over from the year before, but this way I still have plenty of motivation to keep questing (and can obtain some things I'd given up on!)

For those saying there aren't enough coins, I'm not seeing it. You get roughly a coin every two or three quests so that seems like a lot to me, I expected it to be a lot lower to be honest.
If you don't think you'll earn enough, save up the coins you do get to buy the expensive items first. If you don't get enough coins before the event ends it will likely be much easier trying to find someone to purchase for you lots of low point items as opposed to the really expensive 20 point ones.

Ok, day 1, did all quests but sarah (and the ones too expensive cause I am cheap ) and I made 2mil sp, 54 new year tokens, a whole bunch of quest points not to mention all the shop fodder and a few things for me...this be awesome thank you ^.^ How long do we have to do this? Cause I need a lot of tokens. Wish I had hoarded those ones from last year now XD

Love the items, but I must say that it seems like a very limited number of tokens are going to be available for each person to earn. There are only 10 different quests in the quest shop, and you can only do each 15 times if you're a gold account member, 10 if you're not. That is not a whole lot of tokens. Especially when you compare it to all the items and prices of the items in the New Year Shop.

The overlay for the Lightshow Pistil Lipstain is really skewed in relation to the nose :/ Is it meant to be intentional?

@introvert The reason last year items haven't changed is because they are items that have only been available via the New Years Shop. Items from previous years have had the chance to go out in the Holiday Shop.
Why are last year's items still the same prices? (aka not expensive like every other year when they're old)

Yay :) I think the tokens are being given out at a reasonable rate right now, higher than I expected really. I got 32 tokens total from doing around 70 quests (can't remember how many I skipped). Pretty good ratio to me.

So I've gotten Tokens from doing the quests (the actual quests, not turning in the pieces) for Shinwa, but I have done about 10 others (mostly Quentin, but a few others too) outside of that and got like one. I think I'll wait until later in the day to finish them, just in case.

We don't have any plans for the tokens other than giving them outside of quests right now. Perhaps we'll donate a few to the Free Shop. :)
Can we have other ways or earning tokens perhaps, I guess randomly floating around site is too much? ^^; Can dream can't I?

Oh, wait, sorry, I see what you mean! Yeah, okay, so quests done for other NPC's while also doing Shinwa's won't get tokens. I get tokens when I do quests outside of Shinwa. n__n
Well, what I meant is that I'm doing quests for shinwa, and althoug I'm getting quest points for those (you know, pete, malaria, etc) and not getting any tokens. Sorry, I wasn't specific on that.

We've always made items from previous years that restocked in the HOliday Shop more expensive. Items that have only been available exclusively through this shop have always been lower. :)
Some really awesome items. The nose is awesome, love the hair too ! The wands looked like Sailor Moon items before I saw the overlays, ahaha
