Free Gift: Box of Childhood Memories

I knew Subeta would have a fitting gift to remember Mr. Iwata by. Pokemon Gold and Silver changed and saved my life, quite literally. Games have been a crux of my whole family's dynamic for many years. Truly a master at his craft, the world is a darker place without him. But I will always remember him each time I play.
Sleep well, Iwata-sama. You will be deeply missed. ;_;

Aw man, Iwata died, and I didn't know. My childhood would be nothing without him. RIP, Iwata-san.

I used to be a gamer many years ago but didn't know who this was until I saw an article online. Nice tribute. I also noticed that we have recently lost Patrick McNee (Avengers) and Omar Sharif (Dr. Zhivago) within the past week or 2 as well. Sad.

Saw this on facebook the other day and was absolutely stunned (and not the good kind, obviously).
This man and his company have legit been my gaming life for the most part, hopefully he finds peace in whatever afterlife he winds up in. <3
(also...I should not have clicked KiaArra's link, omg. TT_TT )

Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. Godspeed, Iwata-sensei ;~;

I got the news when I was dead asleep, and it honestly didn't sink in at first. When it finally hit me, I teared up. It's a dark day; thank you for this tribute. It means a lot. Rest in Peace, Iwata-san.

This on top of Roger Rees dying made this weekend just too much to bear. Thanks for this, Subeta.

I honestly thought it was a joke when my dad told me, I honestly still can't believe he passed away. I highly doubt the gaming industry would be where it is today without Iwata's influence. He truly will be missed. ;;

Oh, here come the waterworks again. Honestly if you care about video games or not, the guy was an amazing example of a human being.

Mr Iwata will be missed sorely. I just saw a news article saying that a rainbow was spotted over Nintendo's building in Kyoto. Even mother nature is sad Iwata is gone. Thank you for what you've done to the gaming industry, Iwata.

RIP Mr Iwata. Forever a legend to me!
My sister and bro-in-law were near Nintendo's Kyoto Headquarters today to pay their respect. 8'C

Dude was way too young to die, he was younger than my parents! He will live on forever in all our hearts because legends never die.

Oh, now I know who he is. Being only younger than he by one year and never any good at Nintendo games I really did not know him. Still as always thanks Subeta for this sweet gift. My son enjoyed Nintendo for a small while, but he was a child who preferred to play outside. My grandson had a Nintendo DS

RIP Mr. Iwata and thank you for all the fun. I have a special place in my heart for Nintendo, especially a certain little plumber guy. Say hi to my mom and sister.
