Get Your Brew On: Design Your Own Microbrew
Alegarten is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate it than by running a user contest?
You will have until September 22nd to design your very own microbrew that will be sold at the brewery during Alegarten!
What does this contest involve exactly? You will be naming your drink, coming up with a fun description for it, designing a logo that can easily fit on a label, and deciding other fun factors such as making it a six pack or a single brewed drink. There are so many possibilities! You can incorporate NPCs from around the site into your design, such as having Lukien brew up something delicious. You could also design a drink around one of our species, like a brew strong enough to take down a mortiking! Again, the possibilities are endless. Note: Your drink should be a brewed drink such as an ale, beer, cider, lager, etc.
You do not have to draw the item; our artists will be making the official art. You can submit art for your logo or just a detailed description.
On September 22nd at 11:59pm, we will be closing submissions and opening up user voting. You will be able to vote for 5 of your favorite drink ideas. On September 28th at 11:59pm we will be closing down voting and the top 5 drinks will be created to be sold at the Brewery.
If you win, you’ll be getting a free copy of your delicious drink as well as your choice of an item from the cash shop (retired or current, though CSC cards and GAs do not count) and 15 forum shop points!
Please don’t try to create or consume any actual alcohol while participating in this contest.

@SHIBITO I’ll edit the news post to include this but — It has to be an item like old minions, plushies, beanbags, etc. You could pick an old trunk like So Coy Heavy Chest. You could pick a specific animal out of the animal chance machine. CSC cards and GAs do not count.
@Bathory As long as it’s a beer, ale, cider, etc you can use any NPC/inspiration! It’s going to be sold in the Brewery but it doesn’t mean it needs to be fall themed. :)

I don't drink, know absolutely zero about alcohol, and have no imagination whatsoever. Love the contest idea, but guess I'm out for this one.

Wait when it says "making it a single strong drink" does this mean cocktails? Or does it HAVE to be a beer-type beverage?
I dun drink, but I sure as hell know about ale (thank you former co-worker who regaled me on the differences between ales and other brews at length on Tuesday night shifts). BRING IT <3

It's a fairly easily obtained currency though, unlike referral points which are really hard to find people selling.
I do prefer this way over increasing rates, but people complain about the points because they don't prioritize items they really want, feeling like they need to buy one of everything asap and they don't often want to buy the points. You have said there are no plans to retire the forum shop items iirc.

@kbbob It's a currency people often want (because those items are rad) and it's better than increasing the odds they go out to where the points become super cheap :p
As a person who has man OCs who like to drink this should be fun as heck! First time I am ever entering one of this such contests!

@shadowstalker2013 You don't need to draw! Just be detailed enough in your description that users will understand the general idea (so you get votes during the voting round). :)
