The experiment #8471 has been recalibrated and now comes in a scribble version! It looks about the way that I feel. Happy New Year, indeed.

the coloring is nice but the design itself remains atrocious...
really awesome art mr artist (sorry i have no idea who are the subeta art staff ;w; ), thoughh i admit even after the revamp, i still think this experiment is quite uggly no matter what XD (art is awesome tho, i cant draw like that even in a million years xD)
Aww, I wish the third eye was still obviously an eye like in the old artwork. I think it's just the shading that makes it harder to see. Otherwise, great improvement!--Now if only the zapper would make it so for my pet. :/

@Cream I don't see a site update thread by Keith this morning and I'm a member of the site update group. Could you point me in that direction? I'd like to read the thread.

if they're honestly seeking to get the rise out of people, it just makes more sense not to get into a drama with them, doesn't it? don't feed the troll and all that.
i really don't think it's just their behavior, though. people have been notably more aggressive on subeta lately, which is understandable, but i still don't think it's okay to relieve stress in such a manner.

i love this revamp, i'm 110% into the palette, and the shading is hella delicious.

Maybe if you read the site update thread that Keith himself posted on THIS MORNING, Like literally 2 hours ago then you'd know he has been watching the site for the past 12 hours and has seen the stability increase as they continue to fix issues behind the scenes. He stated that grelca and amber will be making posts soon about melody AND the trees now that the site is stable enough to deal with that matter.
Also pretty sure you are having some kinda eye issue if you haven't seen Keith,Amber, and Rah popping in and out of the sb this morning. Hmm maybe they are all here doing things. Gee what a revelation :rainbow:

They artists have nothing to do with fixing the current issues. They need to make paychecks too, so y'know doing their jobs is what they're going to do. Plus I'd much rather see things like this than radio silence while they fix things.

Revamps of pets have nothing to do with coding.

Artists have nothing to do with coding, coders have nothing to do with artists.
This revamp and this news post do not interfere with the work currently going on behind the scenes on the code. Subeta life doesn't have to stop entirely, the site has to keep running, people have to stay interested.
If there would be nothing to do on subeta right now but wait for the trees would work I would just shut down my computer and go binge watch on netflix.

it's amazing that whenever the site is having issues that relate to the programmers jobs, someone lashes out at the artists. how dare you draw instead of learn to code and fix the problem.

@Decadent, hold off with other stuff until the important issues have been resolved, its simple, its like laughing in our faces
@spidertag taking a wild guess, the revamp was drawn (by an artist, not by a programmer) already, and it was decided to release it for the New Year because of the look of that particular experiment ;)
It's not taking the programmers away from working on the tree problem, so why can't we have a nice revamp while we wait? ;)

How can a re vamp at this stage, after a disastrous lumi, be more important than getting the lumi trees open? Words fail me......priorities, thats all I can say
That is such a great improved revamp, still not keen on it but I'm glad it's improved!
