Wait, are these based on cicadas as well as mantis's? If so, that's awesome! Two of my favourite insects in one!

I have to say I'm a tad disappointed... I was hoping they'd be as big as the Telenine or Legeica. Just because they are bugs doesn't mean they have to be tiny.

"the recent discovery of Shengui Guo has lead to" -> led to

Some pets that were around in 2005 don't have lifelike dolls either - it depends on the artist doing the dolls and the order that staff choose to release them. It's not older pet gets first.
The Lasirus and Ontra are two examples of species who have been around for 10 years+ and do not have lifelike dolls yet.

They're reasonably sized, but I'm wondering if you guys would consider changing it's weight. I feel like a jerk to nit-pick, but maybe 3-4 lbs tops would be reasonable for something that still needs to fly (like a large owl).
I'm also totally down for gigantic, potentially radioactive Zasaba :D kaiju buuuggssss!!

Wow that's huge for an insect. (In my imagination it was much much smaller).
I have always thought the bumbus is actually the top predator under the subeta-insects which hunt on illumnises and Zazaba's, like wasps. Those insects hunt also on flies and they have got a sting too.
Anyway I still like the zasaba as specie.

Will you please stop the site from crashing? My God errors out the rear end on here.
It's a nice feature but can't use it with the site unstable....

Glad I'm not the only one who thought these would be bigger! :P
And why do dolls get released AFTER I've been to Raffles...?
Otherwise, yay!

I find it somewhat unsettling that these are the size of a cat and yet I am also really interested in the idea of riding one into battle.

hmm in the article it states they are the smallest of the insects, yet if you look at the Illumis entry image, its even smaller than this pet.

They sound so interesting, pretty big compared to most insects but I've imagined to be around that size.
(I always see pets to be quite big anyways!)

I fricking adore insects / creepy crawlies literally so much, so it makes me absurdly happy to see another insect species on Subeta. Man their lore is just adorable as heck. TAKING THEM OUT FOR WALKS?! YES PLEASE.

LOL, Darkrai's comment.
I actually imagined them to be smaller. You know, like.... bug sized. Not small puppy sized, jfc I would not want to find one of these in my house.

The name of this species reminds me of the song with the lyrics of zaba-doo and zaba-dee. :D

In my head every single subeta pet is the size of a person if not larger, but I'm glad to see you guys take scale and variety into consideration more than I would if it was up to me xD
