I do like these, even though I agree they could be baggier and the pockets could be different. They're still cute and like - different enough from most of the pants I use here that I think they're really interesting. And I already have them all, yay for filled wardrobe achievements.
@KiaArra I agree. I used to use these pants all the time because i liked how junky they looked (tbh I was a big fan of the resurgence of flared jeans about 10 years back) and I prefer the baggy look. Also, the pockets, which looked like pockets, now look like pouches? Anyhow, not crazy about this revamp.
I'm going to wait until the inflation calms down because no thanks, there's always 1 thing out of every set that is crazy priced but rn there's about 4 for this and prob more later.

these are MOSTLY better, and I would actually maybe wear some of these now, but I agree with what everyone else seems to be saying. the pockets on some look a little out of place. it's not even just that they're too bulgy, I think that could work. the color change on the pockets is the problem for me.
I never liked the pants, but I definitely agree, the pockets are terrible. Seems like every few revamps someone tries to not completely change up a look, but make them look rather different than they did, and people don't usually like it. The pockets look like little saddle bags to me, especially on the green. And seems like they were just slapped on, I guess because they're bulging, instead of actual sewn on pockets.
I liked the old ones better. I actually used them from time to time. I don't think I'll be using the updated version.
The pockets look really out of place, especially with them using the accent colour. Aside from that, I think they look much better.
It's a fair revamp, but I agree with everyone about the pockets. They're so awkward and unnatural looking. I'd much rather see an unornamented version of these; there are some nice colours underneath all the extras.

I'm sorry, but this is one revamp that I'm not happy about.
The old pants were wearable, funky, but wearable. Now, the mismatched, bulgy pockets are too garish, look more like gourds than pockets, and make the pants impossible to layer. I used to use several of these a lot, but now... :(

The revamp definitely looks better, but I'm not a fan of those weird creases at the knees, or the pockets. A lot of pants seem to have creases at the knees/legs on this site for the sake of having creases, I think, and the new pockets just aren't working.
Tbh I think some things on those pants should've just been removed completely (like those little pictures on them) to turn the pants into a basic wearable instead of keeping them as some cartoonish/novelty wearable that, let's be real, most people still won't wear. I'd honestly just love them as plain striped pants, sans pictures and bulgy pockets. You could do so much more with them.

Oh yay! I've always liked the blue (Jean) version of these pants, but they've always looked kinda funny so I never actually wore them. I'm really glad to see these updates, thank you!
I like the new art for the items a lot, so nice. I don't care for how so many new pants are so SNUG, quite a few revamps and releases it feels like are riding the skinny line and it's just not to my taste. The colors are still interesting to use, and pockets are great.
I think I actually prefer the older style of these pants compared with the revamps. The revamped pockets actually look very cartoonish and weird compared with the original.
well, the art is great and all but... these pants are still hideous crimes against fashion :|

Love the new item images, but still like the old version of the pants better. Can't even tell that's supposed to be a skull on the right leg there anymore.

Nice revamp, aside from how the pockets pop off of the pants like pouches. Not a fan of that.

For future things like this, please make a board so that we can keep track of things like this (this is a 2 week old post). But these are fixed.
