The thing about a prison that it is only as strong as them bars that make it. Or them guards that guard it. Say someone come to that prison and kill them guards, break them bars… what is left? I says that prison cell become a room, with a door that open as easy as any common door.

You know... I'm just going by what's been said on surface but Merana is evil sure, but Shinwa is not all that good either. I mean imprisoning a known evil on an already inhabited island doesn't seem too kind. Couldn't she have at least found somewhere barren to imprison a known evil?
