Goodbye Cults!
In what has likely been a long-expected announcement, we are officially doing away with Cults on Subeta!
On January 1st, Cults will be entirely removed from the site, so be sure to remove any items or sP you may have stored in yours!
And don't forget that forum groups have already largely duplicated much of the social functions of Cults. They're not just ping groups anymore: forum groups not only have their own subforums, but also sP banks. You can also easily mute notifications for any forum group you're a member of, which lets you join to socialize even if you don't want the group pings!

This feature seemed weirdly dated when I joined in 2011. Good to see it'll finally get replaced.

sliiiiightly sad because when I first joined I remember thinking 'huh, cults, that's a cute way to designate little social groups.' But forum groups really are just more practical.
thank goodness, i never liked cults tbh altho i don't think i was on the site in their hay-day (is it hay day? it can't be hey day, but hay is for horses? anyway)
Can you please, pretty please, make a super quick way to empty the items vaults of the cults?
