We’ve updated the New Years Shop a bit, so items from previous years should show up in their correct tab. Before, the shop was based on when an item was added to the site, which meant items added before midnight of the first would show up in the tab for the previous year. This is no longer the case, so it should be a lot easier to find items!
New Year Tokens are going out via random events and quests this year until 11:59pm on January 10th. The Bathhouse also has a chance of giving them out year round, so don’t worry too much if you don’t have enough tokens for everything by the 10th!

@Amber mmmm okay... yeah, i haven't gotten very many from REs. maybe two or three in the past two days?

@Diprosopus I wear many hats, so yeah I end up exploring the site more. I’ll take another look tonight on how many tokens have gone out via REs so far and see if I need to adjust the chance a bit more; they’re not supposed to get you too many but at least help your collection a bit! I plan on making them a bit more frequent via quests about halfway (there will be a news post and what not when I do that)!

i'm doing the quests but honestly not getting very many. also don't explore the site too much. you probably explore it much more as a mod/admin (??). i'm trying i'm just really getting unlucky, i think.

@Diprosopus Ariel and I are very much of the mindset that we want it to be a challenge for you to get all the items, especially the items we brought back from years ago that we didn’t originally plan on bringing back! That’s why items from years before the New Year shop was a thing are more expensive.
Have you been doing quests? That’s where you’re going to get the bulk of your coins. I’ve gotten about 12 or 13 coins from REs so far, How much are you exploring the site (I realize that I explore the site a lot more than regular users so my count for REs are likely a bit higher)?

hmm i only found about 50 tokens from all of today's quests (including both Sarah and Saggypants) and 4 or 5 from REs.

I keep getting fatal errors when trying to put stuff I won on a quest in my wardrobe! The site keeps saying not on a quest also!

@Foxe @cpbmom There’s a wishlist issue people have brought up in the P&B thread. Post you’re having issues too (with details like what browser you’re using etc) so programmers have plenty of info. :)
@feral That’s why we have it as quests AND random event. You have a chance to get a few from REs while you’re going around the site / doing your quests ;)

ugh, i hate RE-based things. i think the average for me was one fairy a day in december? which was very discouraging. i have a lot to catch up on, too, which makes it that much more frustrating. :/

@Amber @Foxe Me too. I can have other pages up on Subeta and they work a-ok, but that page will run slow, then stop working all together. Reloading it doesn't work, I have been closing the tab when it hangs up and opening a new tab by clicking on the link in this post. I can look at/wishlist about 5-8 things and then it hangs up. Windows 10, Chrome here.
Does Major Drills still give out New Year's Tokens for his quests like he did last year?

My computer freezes when I look at the new years items, then refuses to load anything or let me put things on my wishlist. It also happened on the presents page.It makes it really hard to participate in anything, is this a server issue? My computer has an incredible processor so it's not that. Definitely not trying to be rude, I'm just wondering if this is a server thing or if there's some inherent issue (it's happened for me from two different laptops, same issue).

I haven't received any random events so far so I will need to do quests Q__Q a lot of super pretty items! I wish the fish were in different positions so you could use more than one on the HA, but I love the art. Hopefully 2017 will be a great year!
cool, was waiting for the shop, but now... m' a bit dissapointed, no hairs/wigs, no deco for avatar and boring dresses... whats' going on with the programmer? fight with champagner head?? but ok, we women have no problem to wear old ones for the new party... caugh...

I love the fish but my only complaint is that they are all in the same position, if only because that means I can't have an entire school of guiding fish swimming around me.
Just noticed that the HA is faceless when you click to buy something too.
