Hydrus Legecia
I hear all sorts of things while running my shop. Lately it's been rumors and speculation about some new creature spotted not far from shore. I'll admit, I doubted that it was actually something new, but it turns out that it is! It seems that Merana has been working her... what does she call it? "Blessing?" Whatever it is, she's been working it on legeicas. If you want a hydrus legeica of your own, you'll have to keep an eye out for Merana, but I'd recommend staying away from her.

I love the hair. I'm 30-something, but I still have dreams that my hair would be as gorgeous as it does when it's floating in water. Ah, to be a mermaid. Such a gorgeous creature, kudos to the artist. The amount of perfect little details is astonishing.
Few weeks ago I saw Merana on the map and I turned my Celinox into Hydrus. I want to see her again... xD

LAUGHS WOW OKAY I NEED IT. SUBETA. OKAY LIKE. WHY DO YOU ALL KEEP RELEASING PETS I JUST ADORE BUT HAVE NO IDEAS FOR?! AHHHHHH! Screams. Such conundrum. No but seriously, the movement of mane is so elegant and gorgeous - I love the shading and that deep, rich brown hue, and the bits of seaweed scattered in it. It's spread in such a way that really is reminiscent of the way hair and such flows in water, which is incredibly appropriate given the coloration, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if that was very much intended on the artist's part, so excellent job there! The seaweed being replacing its normally thick fetlock-feathering is awfully clever, and does well to maintain the integrity of the motif. I really like the shading and coloration on the shell-like bits that have replaced the legeica's scales - the subtle blue rimming around each one is so dainty and beautiful? Everything from its warning, glaring expression to the pose itself is just fantastic. It's this stunning mixture of dangerous and enchanting, which honestly also seems ridiculously apt given all the folklore around marine/sea-related horses and mermaids - like Kelpies/Each Uisge, for instance. Lastly, I super love the tail, too - it's so very exquisite with all the pretty little folds in it. Seriously, I adore the heck out of this. It looks hecka fantastic. Great job!! ♥️♥️

I just made a Legica nostalgic in april who wanted to be a seapony...so hard to decide if I wanna change her now or ??? SOBS so pretty
