Free Gift: Understanding The Universe

Thank you for this wonderful tribute. Very fitting. RIP Stephen Hawking

I wish I had gotten the chance to write to or see him. A lot of people probably have the same regrets, but I’m sure Hawking knew quite well he was loved. RIP.
Thank you for this wonderful tribute to Stephen Hawking!
Understanding The Universe has been read to Nicholas D. Wolfwood!
Nicholas D. Wolfwood says, "That was great! When's the sequel?" I'm glad he enjoyed it.

Understanding The Universe has been read to Trox!
Trox says, "What a waste of paper..."
Err... I kinda wish my pet didn't give personal opinions about tribute books. When Trox Read "Look For The Helpers," he wanted to write fanfiction about it and that was also pretty awkward.

This is such a beautiful and fitting tribute item. A man who loved knowledge so much would be happy to see his tribute being in the shape of a book.

Wonderful tribute item. I was JUST thinking of him the other day. I was watching an old Big Bang ep and they were talking about him. I also recently watched the movie about his life. I thought how wonderful that he has lived to a fairly old age despite all his challenges. Then, I saw the news and I was like, well, FUCK.

I was wondering if Subeta team was going to make a little tribute for Stephen Hawking and I saw this. Beautiful, thank you <3 I'll put this at Oikonny's TC.

He was one of those people.. that if I could sit down and chat with anyone in the world, he would have been one of them. I'm sad he's gone. I hope we can do justice to his contributions to this world. This tribute is lovely. <3

I was wondering if subeta was going to make a tribute item yesterday. Thank you for doing this!

@aiya I never got the impression that Dr Hawking wanted to be "free" of his body. I'm sure he'd have liked to have had fewer limitations, but his body enabled him to share his profound insights with the rest of us, and wherever he is now, if he still retains his personality, he will probably miss that, even if he's partying with Einstein and Sagan, as I hope he is. Despite his limitations, he always seemed to be happier and certainly stronger than most people who have had far fewer challenges in their lives. His condition may have been hard for him to deal with, but disabled people's lives can be just as fulfilling and happy as able-bodied people's lives, and they are definitely worth living.

I love that Galaxielle got an alchemy point from this. It's fitting that it helped her learn.

Great tribute. I'm glad we were lucky enough to have someone like Stephen Hawking in our lifetime. ♥️

Such a beautiful item. Thank you so much for it! Rest in peace, Dr. Hawking. Thank you for everything

Thanks for the tribute. It means a lot to me, the quote made my tears come out.
