Friendly Thursday: Batista
Batista is a confident and charming stall holder over on the Delphi Carnival Pier, always beaming and willing to start up a fast-paced (and often one-sided) conversation. If you get pulled in, you might find you're all of a sudden in the middle of one of his ploys and you're not quite sure how but you're parting with your money and all the while with a smile on your face.
He's all ruse and it doesn't seem as if anything could shake his confidence. But there is one thing that truly wipes the smile from his face, and if you can find it and unlock Batista as a challenger be prepared for the trickiest battle you could face!

I'm gonna guess he fears unluckiness, the 13th thing specifically would line up with the timing of his release.
The trick for bluff that I use is I always bet high first. If I have 3 of any number to start (that number or wild ones), I usually bet that there are 4, because he'll probably have a one or that number. He HAS to go higher and say there's five whatever. Usually (not always) that's a bluff because that's a lot of dice of the same number.
Again, doesn't always work. But the faster you get him guessing high numbers that you're pretty sure he can't have, the faster you win.

I only managed to win one battle. Ouff he's tough for Poukie (t8). At least he won't disappear so I can try again in a few months :S

I think the cat is one of the items that Quentin can give out for doing their quests, so the price should go back down eventually.
Bluff is an easy game once you understand. You can only see your own dice but you have to consider his dice too. 1s are wild and can be considered in with whatever the number in question is. The game is basically making statements about the amount of dice in play. After a certain point either you or him has to make a complete and total guess about the dice, and it's a game of nerve. Do you or him accuse each other of lying about the dice?
Example: You look at your dice and see two 5s. You can say "there are at least two 5s." He says "there are at least three 5s". Okay, there could be, he could have a 5 as well. So now you have to take a chance and gamble and you can say "there are at least four 5s."
He could accuse you of bluffing now and the dice are revealed. If he has an amount of 5s or 1s that adds up to four including your dice, then you win the round because he wrongly accused you of bluffing. If he doesn't have that many 5s or 1s then you lose because he caught you lying about the amount of dice.
If you get away with it, he could say "there are at least five 5s." Now that seems ridiculous to me (not impossible, just unlikely) so that's when I would accuse him of bluffing. If there aren't that many 5s or 1s in play then you win the round.
You don't have to keep guessing about the amount of 5s, that was just for consistency in the example. You can guess about any of the dice but once the game progresses you have to guess a higher number than him. (If he guesses two 4s you can't go back down and guess that there's one six). It is a silly game. You can play every 12 minutes. I played three times and won the third time. I do not understand what I did. Just keep at it

Sorry if this was asked already....but If Gunter is gone...how do you unlock him as a challenger...I thought they could be unlocked at any point? or was it ONLY that month? thanks!
