Quest-A-Thon: START!!!

During this time, you will need to complete quests from the following quest givers to have them count: Blue Building, Carl, Cinthia, Mori or Nori, Alexander, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Saggitarius, Sarah, and The Wizard. Just a reminder that regular users can complete 10 quests per quest giver and Gold Account users can complete 15 quests*.
*Blue Building quests are 5 quests a day for everyone.

**Participation means complete at least 1 quest throughout the Quest-A-Thon.
GOOD LUCK!

aaand off we go :D

This is such good motivation to get me to do all of the quests every day like I was last year! * ^ * )9

I always enjoy doing Subeta’s special events! With a Pet Slot as one of the rewards, I am “beside myself” with excitement! I won’t be able to do all 15 for every quest giver every day but I will do as many as time permits. Every bit counts, right!? Have fun everyone!

Remember guys, if you want to do Sarah's quests you can let a trusted friend hang onto your money!
(Pain in the butt I know but it's the only way unless your poor to begin with.)

1250000 quests across 16 days means 78125 quests a day which immediately looks a lot more doable, seeing as we're 7 hours in and already have 32k Quests done. Also keep in mind that there's probably a higher rate of Quests per day done on weekends!
Quest number ballparks:
August 30th: 78,125
August 31st: 156,250 (Weekend!)
September 1st: 234,375 (Weekend!)
September 2nd: 312,500 (Weekend!)
September 3rd: 390,625
September 4th: 468,750
September 5th: 546,875
September 6th: 625,000 (halfpoint!)
September 7th: 703,125 (Weekend!)
September 8th: 781,250 (Weekend!)
September 9th: 859,375 (Weekend!)
September 10th: 937,500
September 11th: 1,015,625 (1 Million down)
September 12th: 1,093,750
September 13th: 1,171,875
September 14th: 1,250,000 (Goal!) (Also Weekend)
We'd need 823 normal account people doing all their 95 Quests each day, or 559 gold account people doing all their 140 quests each day to get those numbers. I suspect we have more active people than that, so we ought to be able to make it.

Got all the quests done but I do all the quests everyday because I enjoy it. If I added correctly I did 140 quests.

Hey, every snowflake adds to a storm~ ;)I know we've always done really well on things like this, it's just that I've seen people bragging about only doing one and letting everyone else do the rest (mostly off-site, where people won't give them a hard time) and it's kind of discouraging to see that when it's supposed to be a group effort.
Anyone who takes the time to type a brag about doing nothing? Just lazy and basic attempts at trolling. If the requirement was 10, they'd just use that number instead in the hopes of getting a rise out of people, because they have absolutely nothing else going for them.
The people that really do only one quest aren't wasting their time going on and on about it, they're actually doing something else, waiting for the rewards to roll in and/or they barely play to begin with. :P
Keep being your awesome self and try to not give their generic jokes any more of your time.
We've got quests to do and goals to hit~ And, we'll do it together. ♥️

@mouse True, but it's also a very small minority! We have a lot of users who don't post at all and still do a lot of quests. It's better to ignore those that brag about the one quest and instead enjoy the community of questers (on the thread I linked, in your own forum group, discord, whatever!).
get me that pet slot, guys.

Yeah, I just wanted to clarify that I meant a really low requirement, not something that would turn people off but just enough (probably more than 10, it was just an example to show I didn't mean a really high requirement because that would discourage people) to encourage people to contribute a bit more.

Guess it doesn't matter, I'm going to enjoy Quest-A-Thon anyway. Just don't really like a 1 quest requirement and I feel it should be just a bit higher.

@mouse ngl I just picked 500 as an example because my usual joke 'billion' example for things wouldn't have worked as well there.
Why make it 10 when it's not that much higher than 1? I'd understand people wanting to raise the participation number if you guys hadn't made every single goal tbh, even with small time crunches. EVEN WITH GELLY WAR SITE EXPLODING SITUATIONS.

As I said, the requirement didn't have to be high, so nothing like 500... not sure why that kind of limit was even brought up because I specifically mentioned a low requirement. I was only thinking of a very low limit, just so people wouldn't do 1 quest and leave it at that. I'm glad most people contribute more, and I never assumed that many only did 1 quest, I just think the 1 quest requirement is too low. Even 10 quests would be a bit better, imo.

@mouse Nope. :) This event is all/nothing as a team. A vast majority of those that participate do more than the one quest! We're not going to put limits on how many people should do, because not everyone can complete all their quests every single day for whatever reason (work, school, expensive quest, etc). We have no plans for changing the format of a quest-a-thon, because it's unique for our events in the sense that everyone works together and either gets the prizes or fails and tries again next time. You've all made every single quest-a-thon goal. I personally feel like adding a "you have to do 500 quests to qualify" would just turn some people off that don't think they can fit all that in / get discouraged / etc. Every bit helps, and like I said most people do more than 1. :)

Please, please, PLEASE for the next Quest-A-Thon can we have "participation" be more than ONE quest? It doesn't have to be a huge amount, just more than one quest on one day of the Quest-A-Thon.
Otherwise... yay, Quest-A-Thon! These are fun and it's fun to actually participate. Much more rewarding than letting everyone else do the work. :)

Since this is the third (or 4th?) quest-a-thon we've had, I feel like there should be a forum title associated with participating. Something like, [Username] is forever on a quest for more quests

when you're on a roll and "Oh No!
You can only buy an item every 5 seconds! Give everyone else a chance." shows up. i'm trying to help give everyone a pet slot i don't have time for this ;P

also quick tip is you can add the Quests to your sidebar, so you know how many you've done/need to do <3 they also link to the Quests.

Excited for the Quest-A-Thon! I think it'll get me back into the habit of doing quests (:
