Why open the CW pawn shop when the site is in a wheelchair and barely moves? and why haven't we been warned? Some of us have to spend the last money we had because we hope to get at least an item from there and not everyone gets paid on the 15th... And just a week? not even covering Christmas day?

im sorry to bug you but do you remember where the warning was? ;; i just looked thru all the december news posts and couldn't find it; i do remember that in the black friday post (one of them wugwhg i don't know which) there was a comment way in there about it being in december, but folks have been saying/even amber said she hinted after (?) the bonus weekend, and i didn't see that anywhere OTL i just want to know where i should be looking

also!! for what it's worth, last year they told us what day and time the pawn shop was opening; i'm not certain if that was really unpopular or if it was decided that staff didn't want to do it that way again? but it was how it was done last so i think it's fair that people expected it to be similar, or even similar to how other events are planned and announced.

Yay! And hopefully with it being open for so long, a lot of these items will end up back in circulation. :)

Can the site handle the pawn shop being open right now? There's been so much lag and forum issues lately, when really makes the site hard to enjoy, with little word from Staff.

This is only the second time I've ever bought any custom wearables, so I didn't have anything on my wishlist.

I do not think this has to be announced days in advance.
Whenever sometthing happens, there will always be peopel, who are not online.

My sister (who is also playing on here, but has a differnet schedule then myself) and I had aggreed, that whoever is online will call the other one, if the shop opnes.
Today at 6 a.m. my phone rang - woke me up (luckily just the phone in my study, where I am sleeping, due to a cold)
and told the very dirsupted me "pawwn shop is open"

so for those whp complain,
there WERE several warnings before.

honestly I do not need to know the exact date, when it's open.
I am strictly sticking to WL items (friends go first)
and I am pretty sure that there will still be enough nice stuff in there

also adding that i didn't like this being a surprise, either :x i know a lot of others said they weren't already, but! chipping in

While I am happy to have the opportunity to finally get some of these items for cheaper than usual, I do agree that the sudden release (without at least two days warning) was and is unfair to those who may not be on to grab their items now. Plus, just like with Black Friday, despite trying to save (and at that point had 800 stored,) it didn't go far enough; csc doesn't go far enough and I'll be forced to buy CSC in order to get some of my wishes, not all. (There's a whole six pages of WL, items for me to try and decide between and christ, I'd better hurry for it's already down to five.)

This has been a problem with CSC and the site in general and it's one I don't care for. I never cared for the pawnshop to begin with for it essentially deletes the item while giving too little CSC in return, doubly so when the option to purchase items was taken away (well over a year ago now.) I don't care for how this site forces me to spend anywhere from $30 - $100 dollars, (which more like $50-$150CDN) just to make the tiniest dent in my wish lists and don't even get me started on the beyond overpriced entry fee one needs to pay to get their item on the site in the first place.

TL;DR: I shouldn't have to spend the same I would on a Triple A game title in order to get a measly five to six items off a 200-300 item wish list. I should get at least ten for the amount of money I'm spending. (Yes, CW's should be less than five dollars, I said it.)

The CSC/CW system is broken and you know it's broken. There has been very little done to improve it aside from the very recent Morty Card upgrade but even that was extremely minimal considering how essential CSC is for playing. (While survivable as a free user, the site becomes three times the work load without a gold account and it's privileges, taking literally months to earn 500csc, and that's just for a month of GA privileges, never mind earning any money towards a CW. Unless you're an artist, of course.) I can get more for my money via mobile games, that's how broken this system is and I don't think you're going to fix it because this way is certainly the wealthier option for you.

Be prepared for many angry people in the morning. Not being able to prepare in terms of CSC or opening time, especially when so many rare/limited CWs will be scooped up by the time they get on, will be a very controversial act to many. I get opening it suddenly so that it's a bit more luck than wealth based, but many aren't going to see it like that. It just makes it so that a few can scoop up many CWs easier than everyone getting 1-2 good things.

I was lucky enough to be here, but you can bet if I hadn't and missed something I'd been looking for forever, I would have many words to say.

That's not to say that I don't appreciate the ability to get these, since it's really generous to allow it to begin with! I just think that maybe the way this was implemented wasn't super ideal, and the results of it will be pretty apparent in community opinion.

Anyway back to buying CWs lmao

Step 1: Add friend's WL to my WL
Step 2: Search WL
Step 3: Buy a thing
Step 4: Purge friend's WL from my WL
Step 5: Go to next friend

Hrrrrggggg..... Longest 5 minutes ever!
