Fireside Challengers!
If you’ve unlocked Cursed Effigy or Bandit in the past, you don’t need to do it again. <3
These challengers will leave once Fireside is over.

If I defeat Bandit... Can I keep him?
I don't think I have the patience to battle in this lag that keeps on giving. I barely do anything on this site lately.
Finally beat Cursed Effigy during the fireside! UGH - and he gave me garbage loot + only 350 EXP. :T
How do you unlock Bandit? He stole 3 items from me at the beginning of Fireside but he is not in my event tab now.
Ugh, Cranky Carrot is a pain when you can't use spells and you spend more than half the battle frozen.
Haha, well I'm glad some people knew the answer! It's been so long since I unlocked it I guess, I just couldn't remember honestly.
Cursed Effigy, the Tormented is a secret challenger that is unlocked with the 
from the Millionaire Center.
As far as I can remember, the regular Cursed Effigy (the event challenger) has always just been available during Fireside (whenever staff have made it available). If that's not the case and there is a separate way to unlock that one, I have no idea what it is either.
I know the jollin bandit is unlocked by having a few items stolen while you're tossing them into the bonfire, and the carrot has been unlocked by random event in the past.

Yes, they are different. The one that is not tormented, I have no idea how to unlock because I did it years ago and the guides on challengers in Battle Forum don't say. The last bit of information I found was that it was normal, but it's not there right now, so it must have reverted.

@Solsticesprite only the carrot is showing up under the events tab for me. So there's the Cursed Effigy which is seasonal, and Cursed Effigy, the Tormented which is different and is a secret opponents?

@Clovis Amber made Cursed Effigy normal this January. Have you looked under Events to see if it's just there?
Alright, but is the cash shop challenger coming before this month ends or is it being delayed into next month?
Can I ask how you unlock the Cursed Effigy? Is it just by throwing lotsa stuff into the bonfire?
