Survival Updates
So let’s start off with the results to the earlier poll on naming the virus strains for 2020. Smoke (from Darkside) is Eau de Ceased, Ice (from Arctic Frost) is Cryomorph, Metal (from Ziara) is Metalmorphosis, and Lake (from Veta) is Death Roe.
Now, on to the issue with the final stage/unlocking problem. We (Bug let’s be real) has figured out the issue and it’s fixed! If you made it to the 8th step of a 2020 virus and your skin didn’t unlock, file a ticket. Someone on staff will get you your well deserved virus strain. If you’re waiting on your ticket getting answered, you can start a new infection without any issues.
Survival has been extended to 11:59pm on March 6.

My Muerte, dispite being a older strain was being abit "stubborn" and took longer then predicted so glad to know I will have time for a 4th, regardless of when I finish and whatever strain number 3 decides to do x_x

It's semantics, but just wondering if Survival was extended through March 6th, or to March 6th. (So is it an extra 24 or 48 hours?)
Im guessing I'm one of the unfortunates who's strain won't progress to the last stage until later considering I literally started my strain less than 10 minutes after survival was even announced.
Has anyone progressed to the final stage with smoke? Cause I feel like I should've been at the last stage already. :/

@Jazmine @Diana_Marie The strains progress with a degree of randomness. There was also an issue on February 20th that caused some strain progressions to get delayed by up to 24 hours; this issue has since been resolved, and we chose to extend Survival to make up for this time. This might be why you are late. I did double-check your specific hexes and there's no problems I can see with their progression right now. For fairness' sake, I can't reveal when exactly they will progress to the next stage, but they are on track as far as I can tell. Other than the delay on February 20th, we have had no other issues with virus progression speed. :)

How do I figure out what stage I'm on? My strain should be done. I've had it forever it seems.
How in the world did I get two stages behind? I am supposed to be at least stage 7. I cleaned out my cache and cookies twice, and I did the whole update avatar in the wardrobe thing twice as well. Help!

The Cryomorph/Ice issue should now be fixed! There was just a mixup with the image file names, since we called them both "ice" and use the same naming format.

CRYOMORPH that's cool. I just wish the wardrobe didn't get stuck on Loading Items for 5 minutes trying to make a HA.
I'd already sent a ticket so I just added to it to ask to unlock the skin. Thanks for assuring us that we won't have to start over. Also, it's a good thing I was planning on doing a vial (with less stages) next. Though I'm trying to avoid looking at what my skin is until I get it cause I really wanted it to be a surprise.

Can you try clearing your cache, @Unwritten? I'm on a female base and they show up for me (after I had to clear cache, ha).
The previews for the (f) female versions of the skins aren't working in the wardrobe. It's a broken image. The (m) male images work okay though.

In some future time, any chance the metal minions of Metalmorphosis could become either actual minions for pets or wearable? Maybe like the skelly dolls at morostide? They are so cute.
