I think some of my ornaments have vanished too, including the Melody ones from last year, which I'm sure I didn't sell or anything.
Hmm.. I am having trouble finding all the cool toppers from Melody 2019. I did complete eveyday that year and my old tree shows them. I don't think I sold them. Were they part of the items that randomly dissapeared from user's accounts.. and I just missed them? (I did check my wearables that time)

When you click on a users lumi tree go to gift them it is showing their trees from last year. I have cleared my cache several times and it’s still the same xx It shows the new ones on their profile just not when you click to gift

It's that time of the year when you should add the Melody widget to your sidebar if you're bad at remembering to check!! Seeing that on your sidebar as you browse can help a lot, especially since it confirms if you've visited for the day or not.
It's under Personal tab > Customize Sidebar >Melody's Cottage for anyone unaware!

Oh, you're fine @SilverScreen! In the past, we've usually had Fireside end and Luminaire start right at midnight (and sometimes even Black Friday). This year I tried something different to get all the items for Fireside to leave that was so much better than years past, so I wasn't actually working an hour or two after Luminaire started, ha. That's why if you look back in the news archive, generally at midnight there's the Melody Cottage news post, and then later in the day a more actual Luminaire post. You'll also see, in previous years we've sort of opened some things to the public on different days, like letting you start decorating trees later in the month etc. November and December are crazy months haha.

I'm not sure why there isn't more explanation in the Lumi news posts, but they often are a bit sparser than others, in my experience!
Here's a really quick run down, and if you need any more help, feel free to message me and I can elaborate on things for you! :)
Melody's Cottage - an Advent Calendar, essentially. You go to the cottage everyday of December for a couple of free items and a bit of sP!
Luminaire Trees - You pick out a tree and decorate it as you choose (though you don't have to, if it's not your thing!) and other users around the site - as well as the NPC Melody account, if I remember correctly - can leave you gifts! At the end of December, you get to open all of your gifts.
Mysterious Melody - a feature that isn't presently linked in the sidebar, but can be accessed from the Arctic Frost world on the map. A secret santa feature that pairs you with another user anonymously, and you can exchange gifts with each other until the end of the day when it resets and you can choose to pair with another partner if you want!
I thiiiink that's the gist of it, but I'm so forgetful so I may have accidentally left something out. Again, if you want more of an explanation let me know and I can o more in depth or clarify things! :D

As someone new to Luminaire, I'm a bit baffled. Is there somewhere I should be looking to explain what I should be doing? Like, somewhere that explains the trees, Mysterious Melody, gifting etc? The other holidays have been well explained in their news posts so I feel like I'm missing something.
I can't believe this year is almost over. It feels like just yesterday we were biting for virus strains (oof) and dancing in a packed ballroom with strangers (oof).
I can't believe its December 1st already! Feels like it came from out of nowhere...like wasn't it just March a couple of weeks ago lol Anyways happy Luminaire everyone :) <3
I didn't have any problem saving my tree and checking it shows up. Hope others can get theirs done.
