Imagine buying an additional 4 remotes to sell them.
I was lucky enough to grab one of the (My first ever Universal Remote! 🥳) during the ~11 A.M. restock. I’m honestly tempted to hold on to mine, just in case it ever becomes a held Wardrobe item in the future, knowing me and my love for getting wonderful Wearables! 😄
Was hoping there would be one more restock since it hadn't been a full 24 hrs yet, but I get if the one before this was the last since it's not an exact thing.
I've been refreshing for two hours+ and it is so boring. I feel like I can't step away or I'll miss it. I missed the last one by 10 minutes I think :/ don't think I've ever bothered refreshing the crystal shop constantly for the remote before and I don't think I will again. I'll just buy these from user shops when I get to the point in my collections/achievment hunt where all that's left is 100mil+ stuff.

im glad staff is willing to try out new things to preserve balance, and tried to release these on a weekend when more people are free but im in the minority thats on subeta more during the week haha. i know we cant accommodate everyone but hopefully ill get a chance at it next time it stocks

Why do I feel the need to eat??? I was at the grocery store when it restocked and Missed it again... I keep checking back in case it restocks like the token shop does but so far no visuals of the prized object.
Either I'm making dinner, sleeping or not on at the time of Restock, I give up trying to get one.

Whoo, I already felt really lucky to see the remote in the shop and grab one since I just woke up and often miss restocks because of my schedule. But seeing how few apparently stock at a time, I feel crazy lucky! I've been waiting to get that achievement forever!

I managed to buy one so I'm feeling better about the situation. Still hope to catch another restock. ;)
I feel like this is monkey’s paw situation lol. I literally just asked for the remote to be stocked yesterday.

This is the WORST thing about Subeta - the frustration. Stocking only a few of an extremely desired item, hints at things coming that never appear, achievements that are impossible to fulfill, promises that are never kept, items that are forgotten to be released, Blackheart Hollow in general, plots/holidays that start great and then are wracked with multiple problems every single time . . .
I think the universal remote is akin to a true unicorn. Meaning I'll never see one. lmao :D :heart:
Yup, logged off for a few minutes and it restocks. And I missed it. Keeping my bad luck record going.

There were more than 5 added. We will not be alerting people when the next stocks happen for it. We don't stock the remote often because it's a ridiculously nice stat booster, it can't be available all the time without us changing that :p
I don't think I've ever seen the remote in the shop ;) It's always gone by the time I see it being announced.
Who knows, maybe I'll get that remote someday...but if not, oh well. Managed to get a cake anyway. My foodie pet still needed it.

Why not stock over 100 like subeta does very other crystal shop item. It doesn't make sense to me why not.
damn i was like did they forget to add the remote??? but i guess they only stocked 5.... spreading them out for people is nice but i feel like there goes my chance to get one when i still need it for both feeding and reading and the achievement!

I still have to read and feed it to my main pet. At 3,000 crystals I'll never be able to get it. So many things in the Crystal Shop and so little crystals.
It's good to restock so different time zones have a chance....but if only 5 people in each time zone have the opportunity to buy it I still don't really see the point. Even if like 20 were restocked at different times it would be be slightly better. There is no reason for this item to be this difficult to get when it has so many uses. Of course I'm just a broken record every time this comes up, I don't even know why I bother complaining.

@usagi the remote costs 3000 crystals. I always try to keep at least that many crystals in stock so I'm prepared if I ever manage to catch a restock, because there is NEVER enough time to frag anything before they go out of stock.
@Asunay the remote does a bunch of stuff. You can use it on a pet for stat gains: It gives 1 - 22 of EACH: Level, Strength, Defense, Intelligence, Health and Speed. You can read, feed and play with your pet. There is an achievement when you use it on your pet for stat gains, and of course it can contribute to reading and feeding achievements and/or high score tables.

In 16+ years I do not remember the staff ever making another new news post or alerting of another restock. Falls to the userbase to alert. Kind of like the Token Shop restocks.
Just put the remote control permanently in the Crystal Shop for like 200,000 humming crystals or something. Would be better than whatever this is of stocking 10 at a time.
Why does staff keep the universal remote artificially rare and inflated anyway? Everyone needs multiple copies and they only put 5 of them in the store? What's the angle here?
Will we get notifications on the news when the remote spawns again, tho? Or do we have to stay in the crystal shop and refresh?
Also just a reminder that the remote is needed for an achievement as well as being a book AND a food item. So, good luck! ^^
Every pet site has at least one item that's superficially hard to get and only causes chaos whenever a handful are released :P

Oh yay, I guess it's time for another round of missing this remote every single restock. I've been here over 16 years and still have never managed to get one. Well thanks for the restock(s) anyway. I'll keep trying to catch one.
So I am going to be haunting the crystal shop all day, I have had practice with BHH until I got the last tier achievement.

Well that stinks since this is my time zone... lol I guess I'll get it in the future years yet to come.
It's a good thing that remote is being restocked a few times, cause it was gone after less than two minutes...

The remotes are restocked in much smaller amounts since they'll be spread out for different time zones. :)
I saw the but it sold out by the time I tried to buy it :( Hoping to catch it again tonight!
