Dangit i always get event dates mixed up, in my mind masq will end on the 17th 🥲
I honestly thought my pet was bugged cause it's listed as nominated and has been for a few years but never got any update on denials or acceptances, didn't realize the queue was so full.
Oh, I really would love to finish a pet and get it nominated, but I admit after 15-plus years on Subeta I'm still not even sure how this works. Always love seeing the winning pet profiles!
@Amber Apologies for bringing this up in two places (I also pinged Keith on the discord) but any chance there's a way we can use community help for reviewing nominated profiles? A few of us in the Weekly Pet Prompts discord were brainstorming as we would love to help with this! We know the staff are spread thin and pets are our Subeta passion, so we'd be down to take some responsibility for this off of staff! If it's something worth exploring lmk! <3

@Balloon There are quite a few that still need to be reviewed! I know I sound like a broken record, but we're a small team so we haven't been able to dedicate a large amount of time to go keep up as throughly as we have before! That's why this Summer we're focusing on gettin' these bad boys approved or at least notes on what y'all need to update.

Does this mean that a lot of recent noms have not been reviewed yet? I've had several nominations since returning from hiatus in December and have been really disheartened because I haven't had any of them win. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, especially since I've seen some other pets win within a couple weeks of being completed and nominated. But if they just haven't been reviewed, then I feel a lot better!

@Amber just to make sure, will the masq forums be open a few days after the holiday ends? i'm running an HA contest that ends when masq does so i want to be sure i can send my prizes out!
Feels like summer where I am already, in the high 90s. :( But looking forward to summer shop items, I need a lot of the books. :)
I’m not ready for the holiday to be over😭 but I got so much done this year, it was definitely a wonderful year for sure!
Thank you for the update! If there is ever a need for short-term part time help reviewing profiles, I know of a group of folks who would be interested! :D
